Small cast, socially distanced blocking, one act, and an amazing journey that is told so theatrically and well. It really is at the summit for small musical theatre. I am excited to be sharing this journey with you. This musical stems from something so simple as literally the last five years of the composer’s life at that time. He had just experienced a whirlwind romance and decided to capture it all in a musical. I could go on and on about the symbolism and narrative techniques used within this piece, but I will let you figure it all out for yourselves. That is part of the journey. Please sit back, relax, and enjoy this musical we have all worked so hard to bring to life. This cast and crew and production team have really brought their best, and have amazed and wowed me every step of the process. Sometimes in life, you are just lucky to even be a part of something like this. And I am beyond lucky to get to be at the table with these designers, a participant with this crew, and a spectator at every rehearsal to this entire team working at the top of their craft. Tonight, you will get to witness the art these humans create that I have had the immense joy of working with. Thank you for joining us and supporting the arts, especially local art during these unprecedented times. ~ Derek Baxter

His next opportunity was singing on Norwegian Cruise Lines where he traveled to more than 60 countries. Most recently, he was in NYC living his best life until that one pandemic thing happened... But, it’s fine, it’s fine, its fine, it’s not a problem, it’s just a challenge! Bri Fallahee (U/S Cathy/ASM) is over the moon to be in this dream show with this sensational team! She was most recently seen on the EOT stage as Marcy Park in …Spelling Bee. She’d like to thank Derek, Nick, Jason, and the entire cast for the wonderful memories, creating her favorite thing: theatre. actorsfund.org/donate Jamey Feshold (U/S Jamie) is so excited to join his first Eight O’Clock Theatre production. He really thinks you’re going to like this show, he’s pretty sure it doesn’t suck. Derek Baxter (Director) is thrilled to be directing his third production for EOT after Avenue Q and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. You also may have seen him on the EOT stage in The Full Monty, 1776, or Evita. Derek has been directing professionally for about 20 years, and performing for over 30. He has toured with Feld Entertainment, The Aerial Angels Circus, and Forbidden Broadway after spending his teens on Nickelodeon’s All That and The Kenan & Kel Show. He would like to thank the ’rents, his friends, and the cast and crew of L5Y for making this show such an easy joy to direct. Jason Tucker (Music Director) is pleased to be back at EOT for this unique production in this unique time. Jason has directed, music-directed, and conducted many EOT productions. He conducted for South Pacific (2000), Shrek, The Addams Family, Mame, Nunsense II, and Jekyll & Hyde. He music-directed Chicago, The Sound of Music, West Side Story (1999), Pippin, Tintypes, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Six Guns and Sasparilla (which he composed). He directed Spring Awakening, Footloose, Lost at Sea (which he wrote with his partner, Amanda Elend), Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, The Fantasticks, Bye Bye Birdie, My Favorite Year, and Urinetown. Jason just moved back to Florida after years spent in NYC, LA, and Nashville. His favorite productions are Mixon (7) and Mercer (4). Nick Giallourakis (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be stage managing his fifth production with EOT, where he is thankful to call home. Nick is pursuing a B.F.A. (with a focus in stage management) at Florida Atlantic University. Big thanks to Derek, Jason, Bri, Erin, and the rest of this amazing production team and incredible cast. He is supported by an amazing group of family & friends. Remember to please vote, wear your mask, and enjoy the show!

Call the box office for reservations We’ve Missed You! EOT and the Central Park Performing Arts Center are making the best and safest possible plan for our upcoming shows. Rehearsing in large numbers would remove the possibility of maintaining social distancing and increase risk. We’ve made some VERY exciting changes in our lineup and trust that you will be equally excited about our “small” shows! Also, the Center has made the decision to maintain the cabaret-style seating plan for the entire season making audience social distancing possible. If you have renewed your season tickets, the box office will call to discuss cabaret- seating arrangements. If you would still like to renew, please call the box office (727-587-6793) as soon as possible. All seating choices from last season will be held for you next season, when we hopefully resume normal theatre-style seating.
