Our Mission To promote animal care and to prevent animal cruelty through sheltering, placement and education.
Every year the GMSPCA provides shelter, care, nutrition and love to thousands of abandoned, lost, homeless and neglected animals.
Welcome Members and Volunteers ! Thank you for offering your help as a member and/or volunteer at the Greater Moncton SPCA. You are an essential part of our team and you bring happiness and hope to the animals.
We are about the protection and promotion of animal welfare. We provide programs and services focused on compassion, reality results and service. We are committed to working with individuals and the communities through educational and other initiatives to promote greater responsibility for animal welfare.
Time Commitment? There is no time commitment to do volunteer work with us! There is no set amount of time you need to spend here.You are free to come and go during our business hours, however dogs must be “back home” by curfew time which is 6:45 pm so we can close at 7:00

Our #1 priority is finding good homes and getting the animals adopted. People interested in adopting a pet are given priority over members for rooms. Adopted animals are not to be taken from their kennels as they are waiting to be picked up to go home.
