The Shamrock May 14, 2021 Check us out on Facebook: StPatrickCatholicSchoolAG/ Dear Parents, I hope that you all enjoy your weekend! I would like to congratulate the 5th grade class and 1st grade class on completing their virtual musical and opera. Long hours of memorizing lines, song lyrics to rehearse, and of course navigating the technology of the times - they should feel so proud of their accomplishments! Also, a job well done goes out to Mrs. Anderson who worked tirelessly with the students and again, with technology, to develop the shows. Next week continues to be full of activity as May rolls along. We will hold our final mass of the school year on Tuesday. Fr. Beto will preside mass which will begin at 9:30AM. Our 8th grade class will be heading into their final stretch and will have finals beginning next week. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare for graduation. For next year, I would like to announce that our 5th grade teacher will be Ms. Christina Baldoni. Christina is currently teaching 5th grade in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and will be moving to this area in July. Ms. Baldoni has been teaching for seven years within the archdiocese and has experience both at the 5th grade and 3rd grade levels. She will also be taking on the role of our Student Council Advisor. Ms. Baldoni is finishing up her school year and will be reaching out to her students in June. Mrs. Cate Adams will also be joining us in the office next year. Cate is an alumnus of St. Pat’s and has two children who are current Celtics! Office duties will be shifted a bit next year and Cate’s role will encompass our facilities, safety, and communication. Cate’s former position at Diablo gave her vast experience in these areas and we are excited to welcome her to the office! I ask that you keep both women in your prayers as they join our school community! Have an enjoyable weekend! Maureen Halderman
