New Member Jason Crites joined Haymarket Baptist on Sunday, July 27. He accepts Jesus Christ as his personal savior and will be baptized in the near future. He resides in the Manassas area. Sherri Al Anon Meetings The “Just for Today” Al Anon Family Group has resumed meeting in person at Haymarket Baptist Church on Sunday nights from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. Al Anon is a support group for family and friends of an alcoholic who are bothered by that person’s drinking. Town of Haymarket Summer Concert, August 14, from 3 to 9:00 p.m. The Town of Haymarket is hosting a concert in Washington Park (next door) on Saturday, August 14. This is a wonderful opportunity to minister to the community by participating in the event. There are a variety of opportunities to serve for a small window of time during the afternoon event. Youth Ignite The youth will meet next week, Sunday, August 8, at 5:00 p.m. in person at the church. Come join us! Women’s Bible Study The Women’s Bible Study will resume tomorrow, August 2, at 10:00 a.m. It will be a hybrid meeting, meaning we will meet in the sanctuary and also be available via Zoom. Our resource for this study will be, “20 Ways to Make Every Day Better,” by Joyce Meyer. All are welcome!
