REHAB 2019 – Visitors* Visitor expectations completely met: • 95.1% of visitors are satisfied or very satisfied with their trade fair visit. • 91.7% of visitors intend to come to REHAB again in 2021. • 94.7% of visitors would recommend REHAB. 40.1% of visitors travelled more than 100 km or more than 300 kilometres to attend the event. High percentage of decision-makers: 38.7% of visitors are primary decision-makers or have an influence on buying and procurement decisions in their respective companies; 27.6 % are involved in an advisory capacity. REHAB offers a visitor structure that is not found at any other event: • 63.5% of visitors only attend REHAB and no other similar trade fairs. • 54.7% are first-time visitors to REHAB.

Accompanying programme The accompanying programme, which featured 88 hours of presentations, live demons trations and panel discussions, met with a very positive response. 95.4% of exhibitors were satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of the topics in the Expert’s forum, the Forum of the International Association rehaKIND e.V., the Joint Pavilion »Homecare in Practice« and the workshops on the subject of medical aid supply. Networking of medicine and rehabilitation technology at technology hub Karlsruhe At the CYBATHLON Prosthesis Series at REHAB, wearers of arm and leg prostheses demonstrated the possibilities and limitations of modern technology in accomplishing everyday tasks. In the accompanying scientific symposium on assistive and wearable robotics, researchers presented their latest findings in this area. Both events were held in cooperation with ETH Zürich and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
