THE SHOW GOES ON NORTHERNAIRES SHOWCHOIR PREPARES FOR SEASON The North High School Northernaires don’t know what their upcoming season will look like yet, but they are already busy preparing. The showchoir group is currently waiting to hear from 3 to 4 schools who are on hold to assess what the COVID situation might look like. The most the group can plan now is to make a high- quality recording of the show that they can share to families and the community. If any competitions move forward virtually, they will use it for those. Catherine Lofy, North Choir Teacher and Northernaires Advisor, says, “I'm so impressed with the way students and families have handled this school year. They have such a love of what they do and everything is done at 110% effort. We’ve been working as a team and I have no doubt that they will be really proud of the show we produce this season.” Above: Northernaires are learning choreography via video chat. “There are about 40 students in Northernaires We started the year with about 1.5 hours of class Catherine Lofy went to UWEC and always this year.
