Carol No. 119 “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”
      Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King.
      Peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!”
      Joyful, all ye nations, rise, Join the triumph of the skies;
      With the angelic host proclaim, “Christ is born in Bethlehem!
      Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King!”

       Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace!
       Hail the sun of righteousness!
       Light and life to all He brings, Risen with healing in His wings.
       Mild He lays His glory by, Born that we no more may die,
       Born to raise us from the earth, Born to give us second birth.
       Hark! The herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King!”

   for the liberation of all creation:
   Release all into your promised freedom.
   Shout to the Lord, all the earth. Alleluia!

   born in a stable at Bethlehem:

   born to a people in fulfillment of their expectations:
   Fulfill our desires in you.

   O Christ, born of the virgin Mary,

Prayer of Dedication (unison)
   What can I give him, poor as I am?
   If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb.
   If I were a wise man, I would do my part;
   But what I can, I give Him, I give Him my heart. Amen.

Congregational Carols (now we invite you to light your candles)
   Refrain:
       Go, tell it on the mountain Over the hills and everywhere;
       Go, tell it on the mountain That Jesus Christ is born!

   1. While shepherds kept their watching O’er silent flocks by night,
        Behold throughout the heavens There shone a holy light. Refrain

   2. The shepherds feared and trembled When lo! Above the earth,
        Rang out the angel chorus That hailed our Savior’s birth. Refrain

   3. Down in a lowly manger The humble Christ was born,
        And God sent us salvation That blessed Christmas morn. Refrain

              Joy to the world! The Lord is come: Let earth receive her King;
              Let every heart prepare Him room,
              And heaven and nature sing, And heaven and nature sing,
              And heaven, and heaven and nature sing.

              He rules the world with truth and grace,
              And makes the nations prove
              The glories of His righteousness,
              And wonders of His love, And wonders of His love,
              And wonders, wonders of His love.
The Nativity of Our Lord - Christ Presbyterian Church
Silent night, holy night! All is calm, all is bright,
   Round yon virgin mother and child!
   Holy Infant, so tender and mild,
   Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace.

   Silent night, holy night! Wondrous star, lend thy light;
   With the angels let us sing, Alleluia to our King;
   Christ the Savior is born, Christ the Savior is born.

     THINGS AT WAKONDA ARE LOOKING EXCITING FOR SUMMER 2021!
We had released a tentative schedule for this coming summer, but we are revising our plans
due to COVID and a potential great opportunity for camp.
For now, we are considering two possible schedules for the summer. We are taking our time
with this because we want to get this summer right! Look for the final schedule to be
released in February.
We are also taking our campers’ health and safety very seriously! So we are looking at all of
our procedures to make them as COVID-safe as possible. Some things to be prepared for in
2021:
    ♦ All campers, staff, and guests will be required to wear masks during indoor activities
        (masks may be removed while sitting to eat at meals) and while unable to maintain
        social distance outdoors.
    ♦ Kitchen staff will wear masks and gloves during all food preparation and service.
    ♦ Meals will be served cafeteria-style, possibly with a staggered meal schedule.
    ♦ Guests and family of campers will stay with their vehicle during check-in & pick-up
        procedures; arrival times will be staggered (this will be sent to you prior to your camp
        event).
    ♦ Campers must turn in a 14-day temperature log at check-in (we will provide this).
    ♦ A camp staff member will be doing daily temperature checks while campers are on-site.
    ♦ Cabin groups will be paired, creating small explorer groups, for activities in order to
        limit potential whole-camp exposure.
    ♦ Camp maintenance staff are cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces multiple times
        each day.
    ♦ As we learn more, additional procedures may be added (such as, but not limited to,
        requiring testing and/or vaccinations prior to arrival, if available).
We are doing all of this to keep our campers, staff, and guests safe! Please hold Camp
Wakonda in prayer as we prepare for a safe and exciting 2021! Shalom! ~ Pastor Ben
