event of the Italian
Chef Federation

More than 22,000 visitors last year have crossed the threshold of
Taormina Cooking Fest, giving the possibility to the Italians Chef
Federation's DSE to allocate a substantial donation to the Foundation
LIMPE for research on Parkinson's disease. An act that makes honor to
all, chefs, producers and participants. This year, it is enhanced by a
new solidarity partnership with Moige. Part of the revenues of this
seventh edition, indeed, will be donated to the Italian Parents' Movement
in favor of the awareness campaign against cyberbullying.

   Chefs Federation in collaboration with Charming Italian Chef, DseFIC and Conpait.

    of the ability to tell their stories through the flavors, aromas and colors of its
    history and tradition.
Schedule & Events 2018

            DAY 1    17:00    Inauguration of the VII edition of Event Cibo Nostrum in the central square of Zafferana Etnea,
                              with the interventions of the organizers, authorities, institutional guests, cooks and journalists present.
 Sunday May 20th
                     20:00    “Party of territories” and Welcome Dinner at Atahotel Naxos Beach.

            DAY 2    10:00    Press conference with the intervention of institutions, producers, journalists from agri-food sector and prestigious
                              names of Italian cuisine.
 Monday May 21st
                      11:00   Visit to "Acireale Baroque City" with tasting of the famous Sicilian Granita and typical rotisserie.

                     17:00    Masterclass “2018 the year of Italian food in the world“ curati da prestigiose firme della cucina italiana, cantine del
                              territorio e qualificati giornalisti di settore.

                     19:00    Taormina Cooking Fest, the great festival of Italian cuisine it will start along Corso Umberto, giving life to a walk through
                              flavors, aromas and colors, with cooking shows of over 1000 participants cooks, 150 food stations and numerous wine
                              tastings of the most important Sicilian wineries.

                              Also this year the proceeds of the day in Taormina will be donated in part to the Limpe Foundation for the research
                              on Parkinson's disease and in part to the Moige in favor of the awareness campaign against Cyberbullying.

Martedì 22 Maggio
                     13:00    "Mediterranean Party" at the Lighthouse of Capomulini.
                              By the "Chefs with the Coppola" (Simone Strano, Giuseppe Raciti, Giovanni Grasso and Giuseppe Torrisi).

                     16:00    Closing event . Conclusion of the event and goodbye to the 8th edition of Cibo Nostrum.
Therefore, Cibo Nostrum continues to promote its "formula". The matching of its
resources - the land with food, the beautiful scenery with wine, the cuisine and
culinary traditions with culture, history and museums - it can and must be the true
strategy for the promotion of this region and, why not, an economic model to be
exported for different sectors: economy, tourism, agri-food, training, culture and
solidarity.
