24/09/2019 Progress reports At The Chalfonts Community College, we report to parents three times a year on their children’s attitude to learning and progress. The purpose of this assessment, recording and reporting system is to provide regular information throughout the year to both students and parents on how students are progressing in relation to their academic ability and potential, based on prior data. Most importantly, it will highlight where a student is demonstrating an excellent attitude to learning or where there is work to be done. Each progress report contains the following information: Current level of attainment in each individual subject; a teacher predicted grade and an A.T.L grade for each subject studied. Attitude to learning, is acknowledged by a number of indicators including: Attendance and punctuality Effort Completion of homework Number of rewards and consequence marks gained. At the Learning Review Day on the 22nd of November 2019, you will have th opportunity to ask further questions about the reporting system.
