As of 2016, Lighthouse Golf & SPA Resort is a proud member of PGA
European Tour Destinations, a collection of the finest Golf venues in the
world ( the 18th Member of European Tour properties).
From 6th September to 9th September, 2018, the Lighthouse Golf & Spa
Resort hosted a professional European Tour Senior Classic. Lighthouse
Golf & Spa Resort welcomed golf professionals from all over the world
at the age of 50 and over, led by world-renowned Ian Woosnam. The
tournament was the only one of its kind in the world and culminated
in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the golf course, opened in
September 2008.
The winners were Magnus Atlevi (Sweden), Stephen Dodd (UK) and
James Kingston (RSA).
Lighthouse Golf Course is designed by the famous ex-Ryder Cup Cap-
tain - Ian Woosnam. The championship golf course is of a “links” design.
Contributing to the stunning scenery are the outstanding natural land-
scapes around which Ian Woosnam has created a brilliant selection of
holes. The golf course is ranked 52nd in the European Golf Resorts Top
100 List and offers an exciting challenge to both professional players
and amateurs alike. All of whom are most welcome to test their skills.

Endless sea view from the height of 200 meters towards the magnificent
and extremely diverse bay from Cape Kaliakra to Cape Galata of the
Black Sea - this is BlackSeaRama, the first championship signature golf
course in Bulgaria - 18 holes, par 72, length of 6648 meters - and the first
completed project of Gary Player in Eastern Europe.
From a flat terrain, a magnificent classical cliff-top links golf course is

Players with HCP higher than 36 will play off the maximum for the com-
petition. Players will compete with ¾ of their playing HCP. The divisions

The format of the competition will be Fourball – Better ball.
There will be 9 matches in total. Each pair gets a point for winning a
match and half point for halving the match.
The match will be held at Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort on June 20th,
the day before the final third round of CAPE KALIAKRA OPEN 2020.
The winning team will get a floating hand-made trophy – a copy of the
Thracian treasure (cup of Abundance) made of 3 kilograms of pure silver.
The names and the countries of the winners will be engraved on the cup.
