Please remember both your username and password. You will use these to login in the future. • You will now see the dashboard that includes a timer, social media accounts, and event information. STEP 2- SELECT EVENTS • Click on the “Activities” tab on the left side of your screen. Here you will see various activity icons. You can learn more about each activity by reading the description. • Click the star located in the top right corner of each image to indicate that you are interested in participating in that activity. This does not guarantee your spot on the roster unless it is one of the unlimited participation events which include: the 5K Run, Fitness Walk, 10K Bike Stroll and Jump Rope. • If you are unable or uninterested in participating in an activity, click the star again to deselect the activity. You can continue to make changes until the team captain has finalized the roster. • You can view other employees who have signed up for the Corporate Challenge by clicking on the “Team Members” icon on the toolbar. STEP 3- FINALIZE ROSTER • Communicate with your team captain about deadlines to make sure that you indicate your interests before final rosters are due. • You will be able to see if you were placed on a roster for an activity by logging back into your account. If you were chosen to be on the roster for your team, you will see a green rectangle on the activity’s icon that says “Participating.” 2019 Corporate Challenge presented by Chick-fil-A Birmingham
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. Are spouses, friends, or children of employees allowed to participate in the events at the Corporate Challenge presented by Chick-fil-A Birmingham? We encourage all of your family and friends to come out and enjoy Corporate Challenge. There will be plenty of activities for all family members including a free Family Fun Zone, however only the employees of companies who have signed up are able to actually participate in the events and award points towards their teams score. Family members may choose to participate in the bike, walk, or run, and some of the other events, as long as they complete a waiver. 2. Will there be food and drinks available at Corporate Challenge? There will be plenty of water and sports drinks in order to keep all of the athletes hydrated at each event throughout the day. There will be food and other drinks available for purchase throughout the day as well. Catering services including food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for company tents will be provided if ordered ahead of time, so please reach out to Daniel (daniel@knighteady.com) if you have any specific questions. 3. Do all of the employees need to sign up online? Yes, we will need all of the individuals from your company to sign up for Corporate Challenge on the event website which will prompt them to sign the electronic waiver. We will not monitor which events the individuals sign up for. It is the responsibility of the company to ensure that the appropriate number of people are present for each event. 4. Is there a limit to how many events each person can participate in? An individual should not compete in more than four of the competitive events (which are all events apart from the 5K Run and Fitness Walk, Jump Rope and 10K Bike Stroll) in order to allow as many people to participate as possible. We ask that the company help us manage this expectation because we will not be able to verify with every single person. 5. What can companies bring to their spot in the Athlete Village? Participating companies will have a 10 x 10 tent and table set up for them in the Athlete Village. The tent will be labeled with the company name. You can bring tailgate chairs, snacks, water and fans. However, you cannot bring a branded tent or any other activation items including a table skirt, because that is reserved for sponsors only. 6. What if we do not have enough participants to compete in all of the events? You are not required to have the maximum amount of participants compete in each event, and you are not required to compete in each event. However, you will not have the ability to earn points if you choose not to participate. 7. How will teams earn points by donating to the event philanthropy, Redemptive Cycles? Teams can earn points by making monetary donations, attending Trample rides and spreading the word about Redemptive on social media. 8. Will we be expected to pay for anything? The only items that employees may need to pay for will be food and drinks, unless their company chooses to order the food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks ahead of time. 9. How many people does a team really need to participate in Corporate Challenge? You probably need at least 20 people in order to compete and have a chance to win. Remember, if you are a company that has 25 or fewer employees, you can combine with another company of similar size to enter a team. However, smaller teams are welcome to be involved even if they know they may not have enough employees for each event, because they care about being active and offering a fun event for their employees! 2019 Corporate Challenge presented by Chick-fil-A Birmingham
