Support Each Other 13 August 2020 Dear Community These challenging times have meant that many of us have experienced challenges that we would have never expected. We want you to know that we are here to support you. We have collated a list of services that may be of assistance to you, family, friends, or even a colleague. Please share this, often people will not put their hand up and say that they need help. Having this information gives people the opportunity to reach out if and when they may need it most. Lets be kind and support each other. Rent Tenants Union Victoria has information and an email support service to help private renters understand their rights and responsibilities. They can assist with a range of everyday legal issues including tenancy. https://www.westjustice.org.au/ or Ph: 9749 7720 Mortgage Bank or Financial Lender Some banks have eased conditions of loan repayments for customers in financial hardship, including deferring or restructuring home loan repayments. Contact you bank for assistance. WEstjustice It is an integrated legal and health wellbeing program that provides legal assistance, social work and financial counselling to people experiencing mortgage stress. The Government has increased the number of subsides appoints that you can access. Community Counselling The Youth Counselling Team are providing counselling support to all members of the community above the age of 12 during the COVID19 Pandemic.
