Pastor Brian Will Be on Holidays in April
For many years, Pastor Brian has not taken his full four weeks’ holiday each year. He has
therefore accumulated many hours of holidays, which means that the church ‘owes’ him a
significant number of hours. The stewards have requested that Brian take additional holidays
in 2021 to reduce the church’s liability for annual leave payments.
Pastor Brian will be having four weeks’ holiday from Friday 2 April to
Friday 30 April. He will be away for a part of that time and at home for
the rest of the time.
Good Friday Service
Our church’s service on Good Friday (2 April) will be here at the Church
Centre, beginning at 8.30am. There will be a time of communion as we
remember Jesus’ death upon the cross, and our speaker will be Bruce
Vaughan. His message is entitled “Lifted Up” based on John 3:1-21.

Crossover Easter Offering
On Good Friday each year, Crossover – the national Baptist evangelism agency – holds its
annual appeal to raise funds for evangelistic work throughout Australia. Crossover is able to
then produce quality evangelistic literature and other resources, fund local church evangelistic

Our Church’s Easter Sunday Service
Our church’s service on Easter Sunday (4 April) will be here at the
Church Centre, beginning at 9.30am. There will be a time of
communion because it is the first Sunday of the month, but the focus will
be on remembering Jesus’ resurrection. Our guest speaker will be Neil
Folling, a former Associate Pastor at Hervey Bay Baptist Church and
currently a school chaplain in Hervey Bay.
Chocolate Easter eggs will be distributed at the end of the service.

continue the repayment of its loan from the church for the Bubs’n’Kids building.

A Petition Calling on Our Federal Government to Recognise the Armenian Genocide
Between 1893 and 1923, some 1,500,000 Armenians – almost all of whom were Christians –
and 2,250,000 Assyrian, Greek, and Syriac Christians were killed within what was then the
Ottoman Empire. Historians agree that the Ottomans murderous policy amounted to the
genocide of about 90% of the Armenian people at that time. Although diplomats and the
media at the time reported on what was happening, the world’s governments did little to call
the Ottomans to account. In fact, when discussing his own genocidal plans, Adolf Hitler said,
“Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?”
Sadly only thirty-two countries have officially acknowledged that this holocaust took place,
and Australia is not one of those countries. Barnabas Fund Australia has launched a petition,
which will be presented to the Australian Government later in the year, urging our country to
officially recognise as genocide the mass murder of Armenian, Assyrian, Greek, and Syriac
Christians in the Ottoman Empire before, during, and after the First World War. Copies of this
petition are available for you to sign.

John Anderson to Seek Pre-Selection
Former Nationals leader and former Deputy Prime Minister, John Anderson, will put his name
forward for pre-selection to become the National Party’s Senate candidate for NSW at the next
federal election.
The National Party in NSW is expected in coming days to announce the Senate pre-selection
to be held in April. The Nationals have one sitting senator in NSW, Perin Davey, who is not up
for re-election. On a combined Liberal / National Senate ‘ticket’, the Nationals would get the
second position and their candidate would likely be overwhelmingly elected.
Mr Anderson’s candidacy was prompted by a range of people asking him to run. “Last year I
was asked to consider how I could best help the Party and I undertook to carefully and
honestly consider what I could do,” Mr Anderson told The Australian. “After careful thought,
and much encouragement from others, I feel it is right for me to at least offer to play for the
team that I once captained for another season.”
Mr Anderson is adamant that he would not seek the leadership of the party or a senior
cabinet position. He wants to make a contribution from the backbench. He would seek to
emphasise the role of the National Party in representing regional Australia, but also its historic
position as a full partner in national Government. “Given that we live in times of great danger
and that the nation faces serious challenges and many difficult decisions in the next few years,
the role the Party plays in Australia is and will remain as important as it ever has been.” Mr
Anderson said that Australia’s “freedom and prosperity” are “under enormous pressure from
those who seek to denigrate or even attack them, from both within and without.” “Yet at the
very time when we need more than ever to pull together in pursuit of our common interests, we
are deeply divided by the poison of identity politics which so powerfully pits us against one
another and denigrates our past. I believe that the times we live in are such that each of us
must now ask ourselves what we can and should do rather than simply what we would like to
do.”
Mr Anderson, aged 64, retired from parliament in 2005 after a successful stint as Deputy
Prime Minister. He was held in the highest esteem by then Prime Minister John Howard and
by his National Party colleagues. In recent years he has re-entered public debate through
newspaper columns, television appearances, public addresses, and a highly successful web site in which he interviews prominent conservatives in Australia and overseas. He has expressed concern about Australia’s defence preparedness and the growing strategic challenges the nation faces. And John Anderson is a committed Christian with conservative views on the social issues facing our country. A pre-selection for a winnable Senate seat could well attract a substantial field of contenders in the National Party. But none would have Mr Anderson’s pedigree. The Chinese Communist Government Has ‘Recruited’ Australian Academics The Chinese Communist Party has recruited more than 300 scientists and scholars – and maybe as many as 600 – at Australian tertiary and government research institutions through its talent recruitment programs, a new submission to a parliamentary inquiry has revealed. The submission, by China expert Alex Joske, warns that the secretive recruitment programs could be associated with up to $280,000,000 in grant fraud and raises concerns that Beijing could obtain backdoor access to sensitive technology and lucrative innovations. In August 2020, The Australian revealed dozens of researchers had been recruited as part of Beijing’s Thousand Talents Plan, which offers them lucrative salaries and perks but requires that their inventions must be patented in China and obliges them to abide by Chinese law. The worldwide exclusive revealed how some academics targeted by the scheme worked in fields of research with a military application, which FBI director Christopher Wray described as both economic espionage and a national security threat. The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security inquiry was launched after The Australian’s revelations that the Chinese government was actively recruiting our scientists to take part in a secretive program that requires intellectual property to be patented in China. This graphic reveals some of the extent of the Chinese ‘recruitment’ – As one commentator said: “So the $280 million that has been identified as grant fraud ‘raises concerns’ that the CCP ‘could’ gain access to sensitive technology and ‘may’ obtain lucrative innovations by registering the patents in China and obeying Chinese law? Surely those were the only reasons for this blatant exercise in international fraud that has been going on for decades. No ifs, buts or maybes? Our senior University Academics and Administrators have been played (and finally exposed) as being just another cohort of Joseph Stalin’s historical ‘Useful Fools’. History will not be kind to them.”

“We Are All Criminals Now in Victoria”

Christianity has just been declared to be illegal in Victoria! I have
said it often enough – Victoria under Dan Andrews and the Labor
government is becoming the Antichrist State. And a vote in the
Victorian Upper House last night was the final nail in the coffin. There
we had politicians formally voting to turn Christians and other Bill Muehlenberg
concerned citizens into criminals.
And all the media headlines got it wrong. It is not “conversion therapy” that is now illegal in
Victoria. It is Christianity, prayer, counsel, biology, common sense, and help for those
struggling that is now banned in Victoria. Dare to live out your faith in this Australian state and
you can be imprisoned for a decade!
Only nine brave and principled MPs voted against this diabolical bill. One media report said
this about the vote, and it informs us of these courageous nine MPs:
Gay conversion therapy has been outlawed in Victoria following a marathon debate in the
upper house on Thursday. The bill passed the Victorian Parliament 27 votes to nine after
a 12-hour sitting in the Legislative Council, where Liberal MPs Bev McArthur and Bernie
Finn defied their party’s position and crossed the floor to vote against the government’s
legislation.
Crossbench MPs Jeff Bourman, Clifford Hayes, Stuart Grimley, Tania Maxwell, David
Limbrick, Tim Quilty and Catherine Cumming also voted against the bill. Under the
reforms, anyone found trying to suppress or change another person’s sexuality or gender
identity faces up to ten years’ jail or fines of almost $10,000 if it can be proved beyond
reasonable doubt that their actions caused serious injury.
The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission will also get new powers
to deal with complaints that do not meet the criminal threshold, and to launch own-motion
investigations into systemic issues as part of a new civil scheme for victims. The Family
Violence Protection Act will also be amended to make gay conversion therapy a form of
domestic violence.
The Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Bill is the latest in a
series of contentious progressive social reforms introduced under the Andrews
government, and drew the ire of religious, medical and legal groups. The Law Institute of
Victoria raised concerns on behalf of lawyers that the bill was overly broad and could
prevent parents or caregivers from having conversations with their children about gender
identity or sexual orientation.
The article continues:
Liberal MP Bernie Finn had described the proposed law as an “attack on basic freedoms”
and described elements of the bill as “social engineering”. “None of us support some of
the practices that have been used on gay men and lesbians, what can only be described
as torture, in the past – just appalling, inhumane and, as I say, just straight-out barbaric,”
Mr Finn said.
“We know that gender dysphoria is a condition that is dealt with very effectively by the
medical fraternity. We do not need the sort of social engineering that this bill brings about.
We have already seen a great number of children go to the children’s hospital, for
example, confused about their gender … It has gone from half-a-dozen a year to well over
1000, as I understand it. That in itself is a worry. This bill is just going to add to that.”
Law Institute president Tania Wolff and chief executive Adam Awty wrote in a letter to the
Justice Department that it had received “concerned feedback” the bill was “overly broad” and
could prevent parents or caregivers from having conversations with their children about theirgender identity or sexual orientation.
I and others have written often in the past about just how dangerous this sort of legislation is.
What Should Be Done?
The real question that remains now is how should we respond? Now that potentially
hundreds of thousands of Victorians have been proclaimed to be criminals overnight, we are
living in the darkest days since Australian federation. As former Deputy PM John Anderson
put it late last year, this bill “is the biggest threat to our democratic freedoms in Australia’s
entire legislative history.”
Indeed, if politicians wanted to officially ban freedom, democracy, and Christianity, this is
about as good a way as any of achieving that result. Cover it all in sweet-sounding words:
compassion, fairness, equality, tolerance. Of course, there is no fairness or tolerance for
Bible-believing Christians.
And there is no compassion or fairness for those struggling with unwanted sexual attraction.
This is all about one thing: the criminalisation of Christianity, and an all-out war on
heterosexuality. Now in Victoria you MUST support and endorse the radical homosexual and
trans agendas – or else. That is the bottom line.
So which way do we go from here? Simply consider the political reality in Victoria. For all
intents and purposes, it seems that the Liberal and National Parties are now dead – dead at
least to real conservative and Christian concerns. Except for a handful of brave warriors such
as Bernie Finn, these parties are now hardly any different from Labor and the Greens in far too
many areas.
Many more questions remain. I have been writing numerous articles of late on anti-Christian
bigotry and persecution. In one such piece I spoke about the doctrine of “the lesser
magistrate” which deals with the matter of if and when we have an obligation to resist corrupt

One astute commentator just sent in this remark, which we all need to ponder. It features the
same sort of questions that I have. We all need to think carefully and prayerfully as we now
proceed in the most demonic Antichrist state in Australia, if not the West:
I agree with what you have written above, and I would also add how the Huguenots in
France also developed their very similar theory of resistance, following the great massacre
of Huguenots in 1572. An anonymous Huguenot published a treatise, “Vindiciae contra
Tyrannos” (A Defence of Liberty against Tyrants, 1579), which inter alia asserted not only
the right but the duty of the lesser magistrate to lead resistance against a tyrant who
usurped the laws of God and oppressed church and state. The ideas of this treatise
influenced Samuel Rutherford in his treatise “Lex Rex” (1644), and in turn the treatises,
sermons, and pamphlets which circulated in the American colonies prior to their revolt in
the 1770s.
My question is this: what form should resistance take in our present situation? We have
a premier (or premiers) who violate God’s laws, make laws (such as the one passed last
night in the Victorian Upper house) for the benefit of homosexuals and “gay” activists, for
abortionists, for unscrupulous medicos, etc., but penalise the righteous in every way
possible. My own view is that Andrews’ government has lost all – and I mean all –
legitimacy and must be resisted outright, not merely disobeyed in this or that point.
However, unlike the Huguenots and Scottish Covenanters (and the American patriots for
that matter), who took up arms in their resistance, we should resist in ways other than
armed conflict. But in what ways? I propose this as a point for urgent discussion, as this
tyrant will soon be coming after us, and I fear that you and your website will be near the
top of the hit list.
Quite right Murray Adamthwaite! These are no longer mere theoretical questions. We are
now living in an anti-Christian police state run by the most power-drunk political leader in the
nation. The Rona has just been one excuse for this man to seek to become dictator for life.
And as long as true Christians still exist, he will keep going after them until they are allsilenced – whether by being imprisoned or wiped out of all their assets.
That is exactly how serious things have now become. What the prophet Isaiah warned about
two and a half millennia ago is now fully upon us: “Woe to those who call evil good and good
evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for
bitter” (Isaiah 5:20).
As Fr Dwight Longenecker put it a year or two ago: “First we overlook evil. Then we permit
evil. Then we legalise evil. Then we promote evil. Then we celebrate evil. Then we
persecute those who still call it evil.” Yep, that is exactly where we are now at.
And Victoria is leading the way under the new Nero, Andrews. Heaven help us all as we
seek to remain faithful to what is right and what is true while we live in a culture that celebrates
what is wrong and what is false.

Hillsong East Coast in Turmoil
The founder of Hillsong Church, Brian Houston, has said that he regrets not acting sooner to
address the issues arising at Hillsong East Coast in the USA, which culminated in Pastor Carl
Lentz being fired for moral failure.
In an email to church members, Pastor Houston said that Hillsong East Coast had “failed to
reflect global Hillsong culture” and promised to work on changing the church’s working
environment after several damning reports emerged of staff and volunteers being treated
poorly. “Every Hillsong location must honour our commitment to creating a caring and healthy
environment for our team, volunteers and members,” Pastor Houston explained. “Under the
previous pastor [at Hillsong East Coast], this was not always the case. Serious concerns and
incidents must never be ignored. When problems arise, proper and effective reporting
mechanisms must be in place. And proper guidelines should be enforced. And when failings
occur, especially among senior leaders, they must be addressed.”
Brian Houston said that while he wasn’t aware of Pastor Lentz’s affair until late last year, he
regrets that he “did not deal with the leadership issue much earlier. I chose to trust at times
when I should have taken more decisive action. I gave the benefit of the doubt when I
shouldn't have,” Pastor Houston said. “Our global team is determined to reflect carefully
on what we’ve learned and make any changes necessary, even difficult ones, to guarantee
that all our leaders are held to the highest standard.”
Brian Houston announced the investigation in November 2020, shortly after firing Carl Lentz
for infidelity. Pastor Lentz has since relocated to California with his family. He has not posted
to Instagram since 5 November, when he admitted to having an affair. “I was unfaithful in my
marriage, the most important relationship in my life and held accountable for that,” he wrote at
the time. “This failure is on me, and me alone and I take full responsibility for my actions. Inow begin a journey of rebuilding trust with my wife, Laura and my children and taking real time to work on and heal my own life and seek out the help that I need.” Planned Parenthood CEO “Completely Over the Moon” In an interview with Business Insider, Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson confessed that she is “completely over the moon” that the abortion industry has a strong advocate in the new US Vice-President, Kamala Harris. “I’m completely over the moon and so excited to support her leadership and support their vision for how we transform healthcare, as well as sexual reproductive healthcare,” Ms Johnson said, noting that Kamala Harris “has really demonstrated her facility of understanding our issues”. Vice President Harris supports directing more US federal government funding toward abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood. Among the “issues” that Planned Parenthood is facing is a decades-long national decline in abortion rates. Yet, even as numbers declined nationally, Planned Parenthood’s abortion numbers increased as it captured more of the US abortion market share. The Biden-Harris administration will be a helping hand to Planned Parenthood’s profitability. “Harris is considered a champion of the abortion industry,” wrote Matt Hadro for the Catholic News Agency. “When the Biden campaign announced her inclusion on the ticket in August, Planned Parenthood Action spent five figures on an online video ad promoting Harris.” He added that several of Harris’s 2016 senate campaign donors were executives at pro-abortion organisations and Harris later grilled judicial nominees on abortion when she became a Senator representing the State of California. A Planned Parenthood Clinic Bypassed 911 to Avoid Public Record of Emergency The Flossmoor Planned Parenthood Clinic, in the Chicago suburb or Flossmoor in Illinois, summoned a private ambulance company for a woman who had suffered a medical emergency at the facility on 3 February 2021. In the USA, dialling 911 is the quickest way to get help in an emergency. However, Planned Parenthood chose instead to delay emergency care to prevent a public record from being created that could have revealed the severity of the woman’s condition and alerted the public to the dangers of abortion. “When abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood bypass the 911 system, they are doing it to cover up the fact that they hurt someone during an abortion. Any concern for the life or health of the woman involved is secondary,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “Planned Parenthood wants the public to think that abortions are the safest thing in the world, but incidents like this completely expose that lie.” In 2020, Operation Rescue documented sixty-seven medical emergencies at abortion facilities throughout the USA, thirty of which took place at Planned Parenthood facilities. Since the Flossmoor Planned Parenthood clinic opened in 2018, Operation Rescue has documented six medical emergencies that required ambulance transport from that facility alone. The most recent previous incident took place on 9 October 2020, when a Planned Parenthood caller urgently sought an ambulance for a woman who was “bleeding out” during an abortion. Other medical emergencies at the Flossmoor Planned Parenthood included a woman suffering a possible uterine perforation during an abortion on 8 May 2020; a female being wheeled out of the clinic on a gurney and loaded into a private ambulance on 7 May 2020 (as filmed by a pro-life activist outside the clinic); an abortion patient haemorrhaging on 12 November 2019; and a 34-year-old woman haemorrhaging after an abortion on 14 December 2018 and the Planned Parenthood staff were unable to stop the haemorrhaging. The medical ‘care’ provided by Planned Parenthood at Flossmoor would seem to be very poor! President Biden Funds Program to Block Visiting Religious Leaders In February 2021, President Biden signed an executive order that will promote homosexuality and transgenderism as a centrepiece of US foreign policy. The document directs “all US government departments and agencies engaged abroad to ensure that US diplomacy and foreign assistance promote and protect the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, queer, and intersex persons around the world.” Of most concern to human rights advocates around the world is the provision of $10,000,000 in the upcoming fiscal year to fund the “Global Equality Fund” that will allow the US government to blacklist foreign religious leaders who speak out in favour of the natural family and against the LGBT ascendancy. This new Executive Order is part of President Biden’s payback to homosexual elites for their support of his candidacy. In December 2020, thirty wealthy left-wing groups, calling themselves the Council for Global Equality, issued a list of demands, including passage of the Equality Act that would force – among many other things – Christian homeless shelters to place men with women. The group demanded that President Biden strike down Mexico City Policy that forbids US money from going to abortion-friendly groups overseas, which he did in the opening days of his presidency. The group also calls for a global effort to combat what they call “anti-gender” groups around the world. This presumably would include American groups that work overseas, including C-Fam, Alliance Defending Freedom, Concerned Women for America, the Heritage Foundation, and other mainstream conservative and pro-life groups. The proposed blacklist could affect people like Anne Kioko of Kenya, who has led the fight there in favour of the natural family. It could also affect Ignacio Arsuaga, founder and president of CitizenGo, a grassroots petition organisation with millions of followers. Ms Kioko and Mr Arsuaga have worked closely with US groups at the United Nations, but they could be banned from entering the USA because of their advocacy for a biblically-based understanding of marriage and gender. Conservative human rights advocates are additionally concerned that pushing the LGBT agenda in US foreign policy will come at the expense of Christians. President Obama, for instance, changed the State Department Office on Religious Freedom to include homosexual issues. Christians were pushed out of the office, and the annual religious persecution report came to include attacks on Christians and Jews who defend the natural family. The question becomes, will there be a blacklist of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders who will be blocked from entering the United States? Will President Biden push for foreign governments to allow boys into female sports? How far will President Biden go to thank the homosexual elite for their money and votes during the last campaign? US Congressman Declared “God’s Will Is No Concern of This Congress” During the debate in the US House of Representatives on 25 February 2021 over the Equality Act, a proposed law that would create a right to kill babies in abortions, force Americans to fund abortions, and promote transgender issues, some Republican congressmen accused Democrats of ignoring Biblical values. And a surprising comment from pro-abortion Democrat Congressman Jerry Nadler confirmed that to be true. Part of the debate over the pro-abortion measure revolved around sex and gender issues and Representative Greg Steube (R-Florida) upset Democrats when he confirmed God makes boys and girls unique. “When men or women claim to be able to choose their own sexual identity, they are making a statement that God did not know what he was doing when he created them,” the congressman said. “The gender confusion that exists in our culture today is a clear rejection of God’s good design. Whenever a nation’s laws no longer reflect the standards of God that nation is in rebellion against Him and will inevitably bear the consequences,” the congressman said. “We are seeing the consequences of rejecting God here in our country today.” That promoted a rather shocking comment from Representative Jerry Nadler. “What any religious tradition describes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress,” he declared. Jonathan Cahn Challenged President Biden on Abortion Issue Popular Christian author and pastor Jonathan Cahn issued a strong warning to President Joe Biden for calling himself a Christian while “empowering the act of killing unborn children”, both in the USA and across the world. In a column published at Townhall in February, Pastor Cahn urged the president to repent,
turn back to God, and end the killing of unborn babies in abortions. “Mr President, you have called for unity and peace. But how can a nation have unity and peace when it has turned against the God who brought it into existence?” Cahn wrote. In his message, Pastor Cahn criticised President Biden for not only supporting the killing of unborn babies in abortions but also promising to force taxpayers to pay for their deaths by ending the Hyde Amendment. “You plan to enact laws that will specifically neutralise the protection of religious freedom, you plan to strike down the Hyde Amendment so that more children will be murdered, and those Americans who recognise abortion as murder will be forced to support the act of murder with their taxes,” he wrote. “And you plan to empower the act of killing unborn children not only within the borders of America, but throughout the world to the end, that yet more rivers of blood will flow,” he continued. That plan is now in action. In one of his first acts as president, Joe Biden rescinded President Donald Trump’s expanded Mexico City Policy and restored hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to pro-abortion groups that kill unborn babies in abortions around the world and lobby pro-life countries to legalise abortions. Under President Trump, Planned Parenthood’s international arm was defunded of about $100,000,000 and the British-based abortion chain MSI Reproductive Choices lost about $73,000,000 in US tax dollars. These two groups abort millions of unborn babies every year. Joe Biden, who professes to be a devout Roman Catholic, once called himself a “saviour of the world” while promising to end the pro-life policy. Pastor Cahn asked how the president – or anyone else – can support such evils and still call themselves a follower of Jesus. “How does one sign the sign of the cross and then sign decrees that rage against what God has so clearly set forth, in His Word concerning life and death, holiness, sin, righteousness and immorality, good and evil?” he asked. Addressing President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and other politicians, Pastor Cahn warned that they will have to account for their actions someday before God. “This world will pass away, but you will stand before God and give account for it is written in His Word that we will each stand before God and give account,” he said. “… And the blood of children will be on your hands. And then we’ll call that eternal life, or eternal judgment. The voice of God calls out to you and to all to turn and follow Him with all your heart, who gave all His heart and life that you might be saved?” The pastor said God judged ancient Israel when its people sacrificed thousands of their children, and America has sacrificed tens of millions of children to abortion. “… We took their lives and their silent screams ascend to heaven, and their blood is on our hands,” Pastor Cahn continued. He urged President Biden and all Americans not to rely on money, politics, or society for their hope, but to repent and return to God. “America has turned away from God. And its only hope is that it returns to God. Choose true greatness and lead in that return or continue in this departure from God to destruction and judgment.” In 1973, the US Supreme Court ruled on Roe v Wade and forced states to legalise abortion on demand. Since then, more than 62,500,000 unborn babies have been killed in abortions. In April 2020, Joe Biden called abortion an “essential medical service” during the coronavirus pandemic. His health care plan would expand abortions as well by forcing insurance companies to cover abortions as “essential” health care under Obamacare. If President Biden does what he promised, abortions could increase across the USA. Not only does he plan to codify Roe v Wade into federal law in case the US Supreme Court overturns it, he also wants to end the Hyde Amendment and force taxpayers to pay for the killing of unborn babies in abortions. Prayer Points
Pray for the people of Hillsong East Coast as they come to terms with their former pastor’s moral
failure. Pray that this situation will not result in believers in this US mega-church losing their way
and giving up on the Lord.
Pray that more evidence will come to light of abortion clinics in the USA bypassing the standard
emergency practices so as to conceal from the public record the numbers of medical emergencies
arising during abortion procedures. Pray that this information will reveal the truth that abortion is
not a simple and safe health care procedure.
Pray for the Lord to humble Congressman Jerry Nadler so that he will realise that God’s will is most
certainly relevant to all government decisions.
Be in prayer about the situation in Myanmar where the military has seized power and declared the
result of recent elections to be fraudulent. Pro-democracy activists have been protesting, and the
military authorities have reacted with lethal force. Furthermore, the military has been specifically
targeting Christian-majority communities to crush this ‘religious dissent’. Pray for a restoration of
law and order, for the military to stand down and accept civilian rule, and for genuine religious
freedom to be permitted in Myanmar.
Continue to pray for an end to the decade-long civil war in Syria, for the restoration of stable
government, and for true freedoms to be granted to Syria’s people.
Keep praying for the collapse of the Communist Government in China, for this regime continues to
pursue policies that result in the persecution of ethnic minorities (like the Uyghur Muslims) and
Christian peoples throughout China. Pray that a new government will emerge in China that allows
people true religious freedom.
China has been ramping up its military threats towards Taiwan. Pray that God’s protective hand
will be over the nation of Taiwan, and that these tensions will not escalate into war.
Thank God that there are calls for a second WHO inquiry into the origin and spread of COVID-19,
for it has been quickly realised that the first inquiry was denied access to all of the evidence and
lied to by the Chinese Communist Government.
Pray again for the United Kingdom, which seems to have been particularly hard hit with the most
recent strain of COVID-19. Pray for this pandemic to serve as a prompt for people in the UK to cry
out to the true God for His mercy and grace.
Pray that the Federal Government will return to its proposed legislation regarding safeguarding
religious freedom in our country, especially in light of the increasing number of instances where
people of faith are facing harassment and attacks as they expressed their Bible-based views on
marriage, family, gender, and sexuality.
Pray for Christian Porter, the Federal Attorney-General, to find a sense of peace in coming to know
the Lord Jesus. Pray too that the accusation against him – an accusation of an alleged rape from
thirty-three years ago, and an allegation that NSW police have already dismissed – will not pull him
down. Pray that he will be able to resume his parliamentary duties as soon as possible.
In light of the ruling by the British High Court against the Tavistock Clinic (Britain’s clinic for gender-
confused children), pray that Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt will re-consider the decision to not
hold an inquiry into the transgender affirming treatments being presented to gender-confused
children in Australia. The approach at Australian clinics is substantially the same of the practices in
the UK, and those treatment practices have now been called into question.
George Christensen – the Federal Member for Dawson – will present a private member’s bill to
Federal Parliament to ensure that children born alive following an abortion procedure must be
given life-sustaining medical treatment. Currently, only NSW mandates this requirement; in all
other States, children born alive following an abortion procedure are simply left to die in a corner of
the room. Pray that this bill will be passed by the Federal Government when it is presented.

is having treatment to deal with Stage 4 cancers that have been found in her abdomen. Pray that
