Welcome It is a delight to welcome you to our Summer Show, the first in two years. In recent memory we have never missed a Show, the highlight of the Club’s year. We reached our 80th Anniversary in 2020 so now is a great opportunity to celebrate getting back together. This spring we have experienced strange growing conditions – either too little rain or too much, warm and then cold. The last year however saw a surge in gardening interest with many growing vegetables and being more adventurous nurturing different types of flowers. So now is the time to literally show off your efforts by entering the Show. There are lots of classes to choose from. Although we have limited the size of the Show to a small degree, due to capacity in the Hall,* the Horticultural classes are mostly unchanged. We may not be able to use Karen’s beautiful china this year but tea and coffee and fabulous home-made cake will still be available. A huge thank you to the Committee and Helpers for their enthusiastic support and thank you for taking part, marvelling at the exhibits or just joining us for a cuppa! Julie Pearson Club Chairman *The Show will be run in a Covid secure way appropriate at the time Entries Deadline for entries is Sunday 15th August at 7:45 pm Set up of all exhibits is to be completed by 10 am allowing judging to commence.
