SUMMER PROGRAMS Honk if you love reading! This summer, Follow us on social media we're coming to you. Watch for Rosie, our @LincolnLibraryON new outreach van, all around Lincoln. Sign to see where we'll be! up for a library card, register for summer reading club, borrow materials, play games and get online with our mobile hotspot. STORYWALK ® StoryWalks® will be up all week at these locations: July 5: Comfort Maple Conservation Area, Fenwick July 12: Lincoln Fire Rescue Get outside and read! Visit eight Station No. 2, Campden July 19: Pelham Public Library, StoryWalks® across Lincoln and Pelham. Fonthill Do fun activities and experience each July 26: Rittenhouse Branch, book page by page. Visit as many spots as Vineland you can, then return your booklet by August 2: Downtown Pelham (start at the Fonthill branch) September 5 for a chance to win one of August 9: Hilary Bald Park, three outdoor games. Pick up a Beamsville StoryWalk® Explorer booklet or print one August 16: St. John's from our website. TD Summer Reading Club is back! Follow the steps below to join Canada's largest book club for kids ages 2 to 12. It's free! Registration starts Saturday June 26. 1. REGISTER There are two ways to register: Get a free book Online: Sign up using the READsquared website or app. bag when you Notebook: Call the library to sign up. Pick up a notebook register. at your local branch. 2. READ Record the books you read online or in your notebook. Complete a minimum of 10 books to finish the TD Summer Reading Club and win a prize pack! Earn extra points by completing missions. 3. RETURN Log your books online or return your completed notebook to your local branch by Saturday August 28. Staff will contact you to arrange a time to pick up your prize. All finishers will also be entered to win draw prizes. Happy reading! Outdoor Programs for Kids Join us under the shade sails at the Fleming Branch for fresh air programs! Registration starts Saturday June 19. Robot! Robot! Robot! Tuesdays, 10 am or 2 pm (Free; 8 spots per session) Learn new skills by completing coding challenges, obstacle courses, and races with Sphero, Ozobot, and LEGO robots. (Note: The same three sessions are offered each month). 10 am: Gr. 1 - 3 / 2 pm: Gr. 4 and up. July 13: Hello, Robot August 3: Hello, Robot July 20: Robot Obstacle Course August 10: Robot Obstacle Course July 27: Robot Races August 17: Robot Races Game On! Wednesdays, 2 pm, Gr. 1 and up ($4 fee, 8 spots per session) Get outside, get active, and get creative with DIY games to take home and play all summer long. July 14: Frisbee Golf August 4: Sidewalk Chalk Paint July 21: Tic Tac Toe August 11: Crazy Games July 28: Fun with Pool August 18: Tie Dye Party Noodles! Stories and Songs Thursdays, 9:30 am or 10:30 am (Free; 8 spots including caregivers) For kids ages 5 and under and their caregivers. Share stories, songs, rhymes, and puppets in this outdoor story time. July 15 August 5 July 22 August 12 July 29 August 19 All programs are subject to change based on COVID-19 restrictions and weather. All activities will follow guidelines set out by Niagara Public Health. Masks required when participants are not physically distanced.
