The Snack Shack will close 1 hour before Sunburst Bay Aquatic Center closes for the day. The closing whistle will sound
30 minutes prior to closing. The facility will close at 4:00 pm on June 28, July 7, 12, 14 and 17 for Barracuda Swim Meets.
The Reef will reopen for open swim at 5:00 pm on July 12, 14 and 17. Dates are subject to change. Changes will be posted
at the Admissions Desk, carypark.com, and RainOut Line. The facility will close at 7:00 pm on July 4 and September 5.

June 18 is the target date to open Sunburst Bay for the season. Season passes will be valid from opening day until Labor
Day. It is possible the actual opening day of Sunburst Bay may be impacted by weather or construction delays. Please
note that there will be no pro-rated refunds due to delays. Passes may be purchased any time before or during the
season.

Rent the Oasis for your summer gathering. The Oasis Rent Sunburst Bay Aquatic Center for your own

Make your next birthday party a splash! Pool parties include the use of the Oasis party room and swimming. Parties
are 2.5 hours in length with 90 minutes of swimming and 60 minutes for lunch and cupcakes. Lunch is your choice of
hot dog, pizza, or chicken fingers with chips, juice box, and cupcakes. Fee is $250 for Cary Park District residents and
$350 for non-residents for up to 15 kids. Additional kids (up to 25 kids) are $10.00 each.
Parties take place during open swim hours: Monday - Saturday: 12:30 - 3:00 pm, 3:30 - 6:00 pm, and

Learning to swim is learning a life skill! Choose from private, semi-private, and group lessons for children as
young as 6 months to adults. Choose from weekday mornings, weekday evenings, or Saturday morning. All
courses are taught by certified American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program (A.R.C.) Water Safety Instructors
and Lifeguards.

National Trails Day
Celebrate National Trails Day on Saturday, June 4 by walking,
biking, or skating the 12 miles of trail within the Cary Park District.
National Trails Day, sponsored by the American Hiking Society, is the
country’s largest celebration of trails. This day increases awareness
about trails and celebrates the hard work and support of many people
and partners including volunteers, land agencies, and outdoor minded
businesses who take care of America’s trails.
There are approximately 12 miles of trail throughout the
community. The Cary Park District, Village of Cary, and
Cary Consolidated School District 26 have built and
currently maintain certain portions of the community trail
system. Trails provide a great opportunity to enjoy
walking, biking, and in-line skating while providing
access to local parks, schools, the library, and commerce.

Warning of Risk: Recreational activities/programs are intended to challenge and engage the physical, mental, and emotional resources of each participant. Despite careful and proper preparation,
instruction, medical advice, conditioning, and equipment, there is still a risk of serious injury when participating in any recreational activity/program. Understandably, not all hazards and dangers can be
foreseen. Depending on the particular activity, participants must understand that certain risks, dangers, and injuries due to inclement weather, slipping, falling, poor skill level or conditioning, carelessness,
horseplay, unsportsmanlike conduct, premise defects, inadequate or defective equipment, inadequate supervision, instruction, or officiating, and all other circumstances inherent to indoor and outdoor
recreational activities/programs exist. In this regard, it must be recognized that it is impossible for the Cary Park District to guarantee absolute safety.
Waiver and Release of all Claims and Assumption of Risk: Please read this form carefully and be aware that in signing up and participating in Cary Park District identified programs/activities, you will be
expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damages, or loss which you or your minor child/ward might sustain as a result of participating in any and all
activities connected with and associated with said programs/activities (including transportation services/vehicle operation, when provided).
I recognized and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury to participants in these programs/activities, and I voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of any and all injuries, damages or loss,
regardless of severity, that my minor child/ward or I may sustain as a result of said participation. I further agree to waive or relinquish all claims I or my minor child/ward may have (or accrue to me or my
