Her next job was at the Boston Globe, where she worked as an information graphic designer and mapmaker in the editorial design department. After 10 years at the Globe, Deb left to become a freelance graphic and web designer, and she still does both today. After moving to Newton in 1992, Deb added more fun to her day by becoming a jewelry designer and getting involved in the Newton arts scene. After relocating to Framingham in 2013, she decided to change gears and go back to painting. She has retained her connections to Newton through Newton Open Studios.
