Other curriculum opportunities… ACE Program - Continues to run in year 9 in 2020. - The ACE program does not continue in year 10 as this is a preparation year for Senior (year 11 and 12) - Students complete the same work and assessment. - Opportunities exist for curriculum enrichment. - Students currently in 8 ACE will remain in year 9: - If they choose to. - If their results support this. - Students may apply to be in the ACE program if spaces exist in term four 2019 and at the start of 2020 if positions are available.

• Choose subjects you like and are good at. • Choose subjects that will be helpful to achieve their future plans. Do not choose a subject based on what your friends choose, nor on who you think will be teaching the subject. Choose to get a taste of if you like a subject of study.
• As students move from year 9 into 10 at the end of 2020 they will have options of taking courses that require additional fees to cover materials and activities. • If students have outstanding fees from previous years of schooling they may have limits placed on their subject pathways unless debts are paid. • If you need help with payment of school fees or ways this can be supported please contact the school to discuss your situation.
Some subjects in year senior will require students to have their own device to select the subject. These are subjects that are heavily based around computer use. There will always be alternative subjects running where a device is not a required part being in the class.
OneSchool Subject Selection • Students complete selection online in OneSchool (on school or home computers). • Print selection; Parent and Student to sign • Hand in to office by Friday 6th September Subjects running in 2020 are dependent on student choices and the school’s physical & human resources and these may impact a subject’s ability to run.
Subject Preference Process • Students complete preferences online in OneSchool (on school or home computers). Instructions are provided on the hard copy.
