In 1987, Father Bill Griner (after whom the cafeteria is Fr. Steven Henriksen named) was appointed to serve as Pastor on June 2. February 7, 2021 | Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time St. Michael Catholic Parish For Week of February 7, 2021 -All 7th-12th grade students are invited to join us for our monthly leadership team meeting this Sunday from 1-3 pm in the youth center. -Jr. High Bible study continues this Wednesday afternoon after school until 5 pm. All 7th and 8th grade students are invited to join us in person or online via Zoom as we learn the story of our faith. This semester, we will mainly be learning about the Gospels. -All 9th-12th grade students are invited to join us for our high school Bible Study. We will meet Sunday nights from 5:30-7 in the youth center. Sign-ups are going on now online. -Sign-ups for the entire semester are now out for our monthly Project Hope service days taking place once a month in the youth center for all 7th-12th grade students. You must sign up online to participate. -All 7th-12th grade students are welcome to join us this Friday for our regular Just for Fun Friday trivia event from 4-5 pm live on Zoom. Contact our youth ministry office for the link to this event. Top three winners will receive gift cards! -All 7th-12th grade students are invited to join us for our annual Spring Retreat taking place on March 6th in the Youth Center. MICHAEL CATHOLIC SCHOOL #FamilyHonorFaith Staff Spotlight- Mr. Aaron Frazita Staff Spotlight- Mrs. Chrissy Roney Aaron Frazita, or "Fraz," as some know him, is the St. Michael Mrs. Chrissy Roney is in her second year here at St. Michael, where Coordinator of Youth Ministry. While he has been at St. Michael for she started as our 2nd grade ELA teacher and is now our 4th grade 17 years, Mr. Frazita has served in youth ministry for 20 years! ELA teacher. In her eighth year in education, Mrs. Roney started her own educational journey at Mercy, then received her undergraduate in Not only does he have his Archdiocesan Certification in Youth Elementary Education from Murray State. After that, she earned her Ministry, Mr. Frazita has also earned his undergraduate degrees in Master's in Educational Technology from IUS and went on to receive Psychology and Theology, as well as Master's in Spirituality, all her Rank I- Reading Specialist from Bellarmine. If he were not in this awesome community, Mr. Frazita would work Mrs. Roney says she doesn't have any hidden talents, but she loves for an organization that takes youths and adults to third world to craft and make designs on t-shirts with her heat press.
