Welcome to Renvyle House Hotel and Resort,
a four star family owned, historic country
house resort.
First opened as a hotel in 1883, it is spectacularly
located on a 150 acre estate on the shores of the
Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara, Co. Galway.
The grounds include a private freshwater lake
for fishing and boating, a beach, woodlands,
gardens and numerous activities on site
including tennis, croquet, outdoor heated
swimming pool (summer months), canoeing
and shore angling.

Guest speaker to be announced shortly. Topics include: how easy it is to grow all your own healthy greens organically all year round. Prepare your garden for a productive summer. with renowned archaeologist Michael Gibbons.

illustrated Lecture on the archaeology of Connemara.
Saturday Morning walk on Omey Island (2-3 Hours)
will be followed by an afternoon walk.
Sunday after breakfast a circular walk of Renvyle
Peninsula, exploring the archaeology from Renvyle
House Hotel (3 Hours).

Painter and teacher John Hoar will teach you the art
of watercolour painting over the course of the week.
A super holiday where you can pick up a new skill or
improve on a lost one.
What to bring: Watercolours*; brushes- I recommend
at least one large brush and one ‘rigger’; watercolour
paper- Bockingford or Arches (140lb) or similar, and
an easel and perhaps Wellington boots. * preferably
