The 2019 Sheen Panel Service Ringwood Marysville
Stages VRC and VCRS Event
Saturday 4th May 2019.
Spectators will have 4 opportunities to see crews compete.
Plus Spectators can also view all the cars at the
Start, Service and Finish of the events at Gallipoli Park

IMPORTANT RULES FOR SPECTATING AT A RALLY
REMEMBER YOU ARE SPECTATING AT A RALLY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
DO NOTs
1. DO NOT light fires or smoke in the forest.
2. DO NOT smoke near a car which is being refueled or serviced.
3. DO NOT obstruct access to spectator areas or service areas - park your car sensibly, where
appropriate follow the instructions of supervising officials.
4. DO NOT take dogs or small children to spectator points unless dogs are on a leash and
children under STRICT adult supervision.
5. DO NOT litter.
6. DO NOT SPEED OR DRIVE RECKLESSLY AS YOU ACCESS THE SPECTATOR POINT
– YOU ARE NOT A RALLY DRIVER. Victoria Police will be monitoring the roads around
the event and you will get caught.

7. DO choose vantage points carefully, try to stay within the tree line or on high ground.
8. DO KEEP CLEAR of natural escape routes for drivers. eg. tracks of the end of sharp corners.
High ground is a safe place to stand.
9. DO KEEP CLEAR of the officials operating the CONTROL POINTS
10. DO TAKE ALL YOUR LITTER OUT OF THE FOREST WITH YOU...Cans, bottles and
papers do not enhance the natural beauty of the area. Children are the worst offenders!!
11. DON'T DRINK TOO MUCH AND DRIVE 'CAUSE THEN YOU'RE A BLOODY IDIOT!! The
Police have been notified of the event and will be in attendance even in the forest so don’t
be a bloody idiot!!
12. DO take some food, water, sunscreen and hat or wet weather clothes with you but TAKE
ALL THE LITTER HOME WITH YOU.
13. DO park as directed at Spectator Points or as per outlined in the maps. Keep your windows
wound up and park your car pointing towards the EXIT. If you encounter dusty roads, then
use your headlights on LOW beam only so you can be seen by others coming towards you.
Don’t tailgate on dusty roads.

MOTOR SPORT IS DANGEROUS
In exchange for being able to attend, view from a spectator point or participate in the event, you
agree:
• to release Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd ("CAMS") and Australian Motor Sport
Commission Ltd, promoters, sponsor organisations, land owners and lessees, organisers of the
event, their respective servants, officials, representatives and agents (collectively, the
"Associated Entities") from all liability for your death, personal injury (including burns),
psychological trauma, loss or damage (including property damage)("harm") howsoever arising
from your participation in or attendance at the event, except to the extent prohibited by law;
• that CAMS and the Associated Entities do not make any warranty, implied or express, that the
event services will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in
connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied; and
• to attend or participate in the event at your own risk.
You acknowledge that:
• the risks associated with attending or participating in the event include the risk that you may
suffer harm as a result of:
• motor vehicles (or parts of them) colliding with other motor vehicles, persons or
property;
• acts of violence and other harmful acts (whether intentional or inadvertent) committed
by persons attending or participating in the event; and
• the failure or unsuitability of facilities (including grand - stands, fences and guard rails)
to ensure the safety of persons or property at the event.
• motor sport is dangerous and that accidents causing harm can and do happen and
may happen to you.
You accept the conditions of, and acknowledge the risks arising from, attending
or participating in the event and being provided with the event services
by CAMS and the Associated Entities

SPECTATOR INSTRUCTIONS
1 STAND IN THE MARKED Spectators MUST ONLY view the cars whilst standing
AREA ONLY within the marked spectator area – you MUST NOT
stand outside the area indicated.
Spectating outside the areas marked as the
spectator area is PROHIBITED. The Spectator
Marshall can postpone a stage if you are outside
the marked area.
2 DO NOT STAND IN Spectators MUST NOT stand in prohibited areas, and
PROHIBITED AREAS must at all times stand behind the bunting which marks
the spectator area
3 FOLLOW THE SPECTATOR The instructions of the Spectator Marshals MUST be
MARSHALLS INSTRUCTIONS obeyed. The Spectator Marshall has the power to
AT ALL TIMES postpone a stage until the spectator point is controlled
to his satisfaction.
4 DO NOT FIND YOUR OWN It is prohibited to ignore the spectator instructions and
WAY – STAY ON THE find your own way around. Not only is there a danger of
MARKED PATH ONLY meeting up with an oncoming rally vehicle WHICH
WILL ENDANGER THE COMPETITOR’S LIFE AND
YOUR OWN. The specified spectator route has been
surveyed and is safe.

AND EXIT ROADS – DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR OWN
