SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES Best in Sweepstakes, Paw Print Dog Blanket. Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes, Paw Print Dog Bed . VETERAN SWEEPSTAKES Judge: Ms. Joy S. Brewster For Bichon Frises 7 years and older. Dogs need not have any titles. Entries in Veteran Sweepstakes need not be entered in Regular Classes. ' Veteran Sweepstakes' must be indicated on the entry form in the space for Additional Classes. Dogs may be spayed or neutered but must be otherwise sound. Fee, $20 .00. First Place in each Class will compete for Best in Veteran Sweepstakes and Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Veteran Sweepslakes. The entry blank must have Parade of Champions & Obedience Titleholders writlen on it. Each entrant will receive a Large Three Streamer Rosette with the dog's name on it. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION AKC Junior HandlerNumbers are now required for entry in Junior Showmanship Competition. Numbers may be obtained from the American Kennel Club - PHONE: (919) 233-9767. NOVICE CLASS: For Boys and Girls 000 are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and 'NIlo, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places with competition present in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. OPEN CLASS: For Boys and Girls wtlo are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day 01 the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice Showmanship Class at a licensed or member show. Juniors wtlich according to their records have completed the requirements to compete in the Open Class but whose status is unconfirmed by the American kennel Club are limited to competing in the Open Class for a period of 90 days from the date of the show were the Junior completed the requirements according to their records. MASTER CLASS: This Class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 first place wins in an Open Class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this dass will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria forthis class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already dosed. Once the eligibility time from for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition present after the closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent or Show Secretary at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors , and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if a dog has been processed, no refund will be made. CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING. DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED forfur1her judging will be excused. JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when the ir classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring . CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging 01 that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once. The Superintendent and Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes atter the judging of the breed is over. No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent on this show site. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED. An administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. DIRECTIONS TO TIlE SHOW SITE From Route 1 Southbound · Take Route 1 Exit. Exit onto Main Street and go 1/4 mile to the traffic light onto Route 514 East (Woodbridge Avenue). Tum right at the Sheraton Hotel into Raritan Center. Follow the signs to the Expo Center. From Route 1 Northbound - After crossing the Raritan River Bridge , get into the right lane . After passing "Open Round Honda" take the third right hand exit onlo Route 514 East (Woodbridge Avenue). Follow Woodbridge Avenue for 3 to 4 miles. Make a right at the Sheraton Hotel into Raritan Center. Follow the signs to the Expo Center. From Route 1-287 South· Follow Route 1-287 South to the Bonhamtown ONLY, Route 514 West Exit. (This exit is just after the NJ Turnpike Exit). Follow Route 514 West lothe first exit ramp marked Raritan Center. Follow the signs to the Expo Center.
