News From Our President Does time fly or what? Another busy month in the books! First , I would like to commend our administrator for the accolades he received from the ONE MOOSE auditor that came to our lodge a couple of weeks ago. The auditor was thoroughly pleased with the record keeping Richard has done. Everything matched, was recorded correctly and balanced! Congratulations again and a BIG THANK YOU for do- ing such a fine job Richard !!! September is almost here. If you haven't purchased your tickets to the "Governor's Ball" (last one known as governor), see Barb at bar to do so. This promises to be one for the books as the members working on the committee have been tirelessly working to make it the best yet! Tickets are only $15 apiece.!! Don't be left out from this special evening. The Florida Moose Association convention is being held on Sept 16-19 in Orlando FL. Attendees are asked to bring some school supplies for children in the 5th grade. A busy time is planned. We have no new members to announce, and again would like to take a moment to remind you how important it is to not just join the Lodge but your chapter ladies. The Chapter does many activities and fundraisers in addition to the lodge that are family fun and help our local community. We hope you will keep this in mind when you are signing up new members. We had some great dinners last month that were delicious and successful fund raisers. And are looking forward to the September dinners this month. Friday September 10th we are cooking a Fried Shrimp Dinner, then on Friday 17th we are cooing a Pork Chop Dinner.
