We are going to start a new District-Wide Game. GWRRA IDAHO
BINGO. As you are out and about in 2021, complete the activities on the
bingo card below. Document your progress on this page. When you get a
bingo by completing a line down, across or diagonal, turn in your progress
sheets to the District Director for a drawing $50 for a regular bingo and
$100 for a whole card bingo. One winner will be drawn on December 15
via District Zoom Call. Open to GWRRA ID members; riders and co-

district RIDER EDUCATOR
District Educator:
It is almost February and that much closer to warmer weather and riding
season. The other day, I went on a 100+ mile ride with another GWRRA
member. You know, it really wasn’t that cold since I was dressed for the
weather. The temperature was in the 40’s or so. We had a very nice ride.
As I drive around my local area, I am amazed at the number of
motorcycles I see riding year round. Have you been on a winter ride? If
not, you might consider dressing for the occasion and trying one.
As we get to warmer weather, I would like to offer some riders education
courses in different parts of the state this year. Please let your Chapter
Director or me know what you are interested in taking. There is the ARC
course for those on 2 wheels and the TRC course for those on 3 wheels.
There is also a Road Captains Course. These are all on-bike courses, and
it is recommended that you take a refresher course every 3 years. This
will also count toward the levels program.
In addition to the levels program, there is also the high mileage or mileage
recognition program. To participate, you need to enroll in the levels
program as a rider or co-rider in at least level 1. There are recognition
pins for safe miles for every 5,000 miles, and the high mileage recognition
starts at 50,000 miles. Consider making a personal goal to achieve one of
these milestones.
I am also very excited for a new contest we are going to reveal in March.
It is an Ice Cream Trail Ride Contest. Look for more information next
month!

District Treasurer
Count Your Chapter Dollars
Yes, it is year end, and yes, it is time to count the dollars your Chapter took
in and spent in 2020, and file those reports with me, your nagging District
Treasurer. I have to do it too, for the District, which is reported to national,
and I have to review your Chapter reports – which are supposed to be in by
now, the 18th day of January. I have heard from only two of five Chapters
as of today!
If you still need help, give me a call.
I am sure 2021 will be a better year and I look forward to seeing many of
you throughout the year, especially at the rally in Kamiah in August. I
know Lori and the District team will have a great event planned and
executed. The venue certainly can’t be beat, and near there, is an official
yellow highway sign that states WINDING ROAD NEXT 99 MILES. It’s
a beautiful trip over Lolo Pass.
And, just to gloat to you guys up north (I’m almost sorry), Mike Adkins and
I rode over 100 miles on January 14th. For me, my 47th consecutive month
of riding, the temps were in the mid 40’s, and we had a beautiful ride to
Swan Falls dam, Celebration Park, and back around Lake Lowell.

Idaho Chapter B Director
Greetings from Lewiston
I sit here listening to the wind on the side of the house and wishing I
was able to go for a ride but knowing that the weather isn’t as good as I
think it is and I would run into snow on part of the ride.
Chapter B held it’s meeting at the new “Hells Canyon Grand Hotel”
here in Lewiston. Otherwise known as the “Red Lion”. We had 10
members to come to the meeting. We had really good training from one of
our members on what to do at an accident.
As of now, we don’t have a date set for our first ride. Our Ride
coordinator is putting a calendar together for our February meeting.
This will be short and sweet for this month. Dress for the slide and
not the ride.

February 2021 Newsletter
Welcome to the new year and hopefully a new and
improved season for all of us. We’ve been rather quiet for
the last couple months, but beginning February 10th,
we’re hoping to liven things up again. I plan on having
our meeting at Leo’s Place on the evening of the 10th,
arrive around 6PM if you plan on eating dinner, the
meeting begins at 7PM. I look forward to seeing
everyone, but as usual, I want you to be safe. If you’re
not feeling well, stay home and we’ll see you when you’re
better. Here’s to a better 2021, stay safe and we’ll see you
down the road.

Idaho Chapter T Director

Chapter T ended the year with a small group meeting at Golden Corral for a
Christmas Gathering. Then we had our January Polar Bear Ride on January 1
with a meet at the Restaurant ride at Sizzler in Nampa. We had some great food
and great company. Our first monthly gathering was at Golden Corral on January
9, again with a small group of GWRRA members. We all practiced social
distancing and wore masks, as necessary. We miss seeing many of our friends who
are not able to attend, but we understand that the virus has affected all of us in
different ways. Everyone needs to do what they feel comfortable doing. We plan to
hold our meetings monthly with a dinner gathering monthly for those who can
attend. Our next monthly gathering will be on Saturday, February 13 at Golden
Corral in Nampa. Eat at 8:30 and meet at 9:30 am. We are planning our dinner
gathering for Sunday, February 21 at Outback in Nampa. Please let us know if you
are attending so we can make a reservation for the group. We hope to see more of
you coming as the year passes along and vaccines are administered to those who
want them.
Gary Evans has agreed to take on the Chapter Ride Coordinator position. We are
excited to have him in this role. He has already calculated mileage for those he
could, for the miles traveled in 2020. He has some awards to give out to those with
the top number of miles ridden in 2020.
The district is busy making plans for the District Rally August 13-15, 2021. Please
consider marking your calendars so you can attend in Kamiah, ID. We will also be
revealing a district-wide activity for 2021. Stay tuned!
