Security and defence 2022 Reimagining transatlantic security 28 - 29 September 2022 @CH_Events In-person and broadcast live #CHSecDef
Welcome to Security and defence Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has upended the post-Cold War transatlantic order. European countries have been forced to re-evaluate the security of their neighbourhood. Meanwhile, the crisis has demanded the US to reconsider its role in Europe, in the context of a broader pivot towards Asia. But beyond the immediate response, both sides of the Atlantic will need to work together to develop a sustainable strategy that effectively addresses a new, uncertain and highly dangerous security environment. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the 2022 Security and defence conference returns as an in- person event. The conference will be convened in London at Chatham House and will be simultaneously broadcast on our LIVE virtual event platform. This is your opportunity to reunite with a global gathering of senior policymakers, government representatives and private sector defence specialists to reimagine transatlantic security through a series of high-level dialogue and networking sessions over the course of two days. We look forward to welcoming you to the conference. Please do get in touch if you require any assistance with your registration. ipa nt querie ic s a rt ns orship rations rketing P po pe Ma O S John Milnes-Smith Sam Martin Wiktoria Schulz Senior Conference Events Assistant Events Marketing Developer Manager Ellie MacMillan-Fox Conference Delegate Coordinator emacmillanfox@chathamhouse.org
