SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
APRIL 2021
TIMES VARY BETWEEN WORKSHOPS, PLEASE CHECK START AND FINISHING TIMES.
This special workshop is designed for a Grandchild and
TUESDAY, 13 APRIL Grandparent to connect through Caricature. Jessica our artist,
will be ready to draw the grandparent and grandchild together
GRANDPARENTS AND whilst Tim will be on hand to guide you through the Trace ’n Keep
component, which will have each participant select from several
GRANDCHILDREN’S head shapes, ears, eyes, noses, accessories etc. This will be
CARICATURE WORKSHOP repeated until you have a full face that looks like your grandchild/
grandparent (or maybe not)! A wonderful memento to treasure
WITH JFPS STUDIO (ALL AGES) forever. This workshop also includes morning tea and both
Grandchild and Grandparent are included in the ticket price.
9.00AM – 12.00PM Cost: $40.00
In this Minecraft session, participants (Ninjas) will have the
TUESDAY, 13 APRIL opportunity to explore, create and navigate their way through the
game, in addition to experiencing varied challenging builds. This
workshop is for Ninjas of any ability with the educational game,
MINECRAFT CLUB WITH where they will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge
CRAFTDOJO (AGES 7–16) through supportive peers and Club Senseis All Ninjas in this
session will receive a welcome pack on entry and access for a
– ALL ABILITIES further three weeks to the server (provided they are using their own
account). All Ninjas have the chance to win a prize at the end
of the session for the most collaborative, creative, and supportive

TUESDAY, 13 APRIL
In this workshop, participants will be creating their own sports
SPORTS THEMED themed alphabet cookie cake! Using either the first letter of
your favourite team, sport or name, whatever really, this cookie
ALPHABET CAKE cake workshop will have you baking, assembling and finally
WITH LYN FROM MY decorating something really cool! Remember to wear closed
in shoes and bring an apron for a morning of baking and
DELICIOUS (ALL AGES) decorating fun! Cost: $50.00

TUESDAY, 13 APRIL Flat white, latte, cappuccino! Do you want a part time job in a
coffee shop, do you want to freshen your skills up or perhaps you
BARISTA FOR YOUR want to travel after you finish school? Led by one of Barista HQ’s
master barista trainers, this workshop will have you operating a
CV WORKSHOP WITH commercial espresso machine while applying safety techniques in
BARISTA HQ PERTH this interactive half day workshop. All ingredients and equipment
provided. A Certificate of Completion for your CV will be
(AGES 13–17) presented at the conclusion of this workshop. Hurry as only eight
places are available! Cost: $65.00

TUESDAY, 13 APRIL We are never too young to learn how to grow our money!
Through a board game and other interactive activities, this
workshop aims to equip young people with money management
INVESTING IN knowledge and skills to budget and grow their wealth. The key
YOUR FUTURE WITH outcomes will have participants appreciating the importance of
cash flow and asset building, being able to identify different types
EMPOWER2FREE (AGES of investments and their associated risks/rewards and recognising
14-17) factors of influence on investments, emotions and risk tolerance!
This two-hour workshop is targeted at youths aged 14 to 17.

will have you making homemade pet treats for your favourite furry

WEDNESDAY, 14 APRIL
It’s fast, it’s fun! Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact sport that is
played with a flying disc (frisbee). It is unique in that it fosters many
ULTIMATE FRISBEE traditional fundamental motor skills and requires new disc-specific
skills. Participants will have fun running, leaping and vertically
WITH WA ULTIMATE jumping whilst using their catching skills! Ultimate is super fun,
(ALL AGES) safe, and suitable for all ability levels! Come and join the coaches
from WA Ultimate for an action-packed morning.
Cost: $30.00

This edible Fairy Garden workshop will make ‘gardening’ fun!
FAIRY GARDEN Participants will make and bake their own brownie, let it cool and
frost with chocolate icing. Using ice cream cones turned upside
BROWNIE WORKSHOP down, marshmallows, wafers and lots of other yummy things,
participants will then make a path with sprinkles that will lead to
WITH LYN FROM MY the enchanted wonderland! All ingredients included. Remember

Acting as both subject and object, the paintbrush refers to the
history of painting, through the medium of paint, with its own tool.
‘DRIP’ PAINTBRUSH This funky ‘Drip’ artwork workshop will have participants doing
ART PIECE WITH KARIN just this using studio paintbrushes as a template and acrylic paint
on canvas. The result is a super cool and colourful canvas ready

WEDNESDAY, 14 APRIL Learn rock climbing and abseiling in a safe and comfortable
environment. Experience the thrill of taking that step
INDOOR ROCK & ABSELING backwards! Experienced Instructors from Adventure Out will
WITH ADVENTURE OUT (ALL provide all the supervision and equipment in this thrill-seeking
AGES) activity on our very own Indoors Rock-climbing Wall!

In this half day Minecraft session, everyone will have the
opportunity to explore, create and navigate their way through the
basics of the game, as well as, experience varied challenging
WEDNESDAY, 14 APRIL builds. This workshop is for Ninjas of any ability where they
will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge through
supportive peers and our Club Senseis. In this workshop, there
MINECRAFT CLUB WITH will be the choice of a creative build or a traditional survival
challenge, testing even the most experienced Ninjas. For the more
CRAFTDOJO (AGES 7–16) experienced Ninjas, a variety of special challenges are available
ALL ABILITIES to test out their skills on a whole new level. All Ninjas in this
session will receive a welcome pack on entry and access for a
further three weeks to the server (provided they are using their own

of the session for the most collaborative, creative, and supportive

WEDNESDAY, 14 APRIL
This super fun workshop will have participants not only making
PAINTBRUSH DRIP CAKE an amazing Paintbrush Drip Cake that will woo your friends,
but also three mousse desserts in a paint can – colours of your
& PAINT CAN MOUSSE choice! Using a chocolate mould, participants will make their own
WORKSHOP WITH LYN FROM paintbrush and then create the paint (mousse)! We’ve never seen
anything like this before, and so come and be one of the first in
MY DELICIOUS (ALL AGES) Perth! Remember to wear closed in shoes and bring an apron for
an afternoon of paintbrush fun (that you can eat)! Cost: $50.00

WEDNESDAY, 14 APRIL In a day and age where you can easily buy anything, why not get
creative and let Karin guide you with this up-cycled Fairy Castle
workshop which will have participants using: tissue boxes, paper
‘ENCHANTED’ ART PIECE towel rolls, fabric, coffee beans, pipe cleaners, cupcake holders,
WITH KARIN FROM coffee cups and MORE! If in doubt, just think about the most
famous fairy of all, Tinkerbell! What would Tinkerbell do? She’d
FUSION CRE8TIVE (ALL gather up any lost things she could find, add some creativity,
AGES) imagination, love and of course pixie dust and voila…she’d have
the perfect Enchanted Fairy Castle! And you can too!

In this FULL day educational Minecraft session, everyone will have the
opportunity to explore, create and navigate their way through the basics of

the opportunity to expand their knowledge through supportive peers and

access for a further three weeks to the server (provided they are using their

THURSDAY, 15 APRIL A wonderful opportunity to discover the world of ceramics!
Charlotte from Banksia Ceramics will share her expertise and
COME & DISCOVER CERAMICS will provide each participant with a kit that includes all the
essential tools to successfully learn and create an amazing and
WITH CHARLOTTE FROM unique pottery piece. Participants will be making a decorative
BANKSIA CERAMICS (ALL AGES) piece (not food safe) to take home with them following the
workshop. Cost: $60.00

THURSDAY, 15 APRIL The beauty of this workshop is that you won’t have to be at the
bakery at 3.00am like most bakers! However, you will still be
DAY AT THE BAKERY WITH making and baking a range of delicious treats to either eat during
the workshop or take home to enjoy for afternoon tea, including
LYN FROM MY DELICIOUS - profiteroles, vanilla slice, match sticks, and sausage rolls! And so
(ALL AGES) if you want your child to learn a love of cooking, then have them
grab their apron and get ready for a full day of baking receiving
expert advice from head baker Lyn! Cost: $70.00

THURSDAY, 15 APRIL Based on the 1939 poetry collection Old Possum’s Book of
Practical Cats, join the creative team from Perth Academy of
CATS MUSICAL THEATRE Performing Arts in our very own CATS Musical Theatre Workshop!
WORKSHOP WITH PERTH The team from PAPA will teach participants skills such as
ACADEMY OF PERFORMING improvisation technique, script analysis vocal technique and Dance
and Movement. Treat your child to this fun workshop which will
ARTS (AGES 9–15) keep them engaged and develop their performance skills! Hurry,

REFUND POLICY: Whilst every effort is made to run workshops as publicised, due to COVID-19, changes may occur.
All Saints’ College reserves the right to make these changes. If you are unable to participate, notice must be given
seven working days before the commencement of the program to receive a refund. If a workshop is cancelled by All
Saints’ College, we will refund your money in full. A refund will NOT be applied if you simply change your mind.
