CAMP INFORMATION
To access the online camp registration form, please visit:
www.FuquaSchool.com/discover/campus-services
All camps are Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 am until
12:00 pm with the exception of Beach Volleyball camp. Please see
information regarding times for Beach Volleyball on specific
camp page.
All camps are open to the public.
Refund and Credit Policy
If you wish to cancel your camp registration and apply for a credit to another
week of camp, please contact Christy Murphy, Director of Admission &
Advancement at murphycm@fuquaschool.com. Request must be submitted at
least two weeks before the start date of camp week. There will be no refunds
given for requests made after the two-week deadline. Once a program begins,
we cannot make any adjustments or offer any credits.
*The school will implement management and control measures in accordance with
relevant regulations to mitigate the risk of the spread of COVID-19. Do keep in mind,
however, that managing risk doesn't mean there will be zero transmission.

Color Your Summer Art Camp (Session I)
Come create mixed media artworks, build small-scale
sculptures and crafts using unconventional materials as we
explore creative ways to discover more about yourself and find
your authentic voice through art! Students will work on several
projects using different mediums and techniques. Let’s take
artistic leaps, think differently, make bold choices, learn new
skills, and have a lot of fun!

Dinosaur Discovery Camp
Do you know which dinosaur was nicknamed “long neck?” Do
you know which dinosaur had the biggest head? Join us for a
colossal journey into the world of dinosaurs. Build a dinosaur
replica and have an archaeological dig just like a real
paleontologist. In Dino Discovery, you will have a swamp
stomping good time.

Glitching Gamers
Campers will explore the gaming world with E-Sports Coach
Jamiel Jackson. Campers who attend this camp will explore
programming, design, 3D animation, and modeling. Come
explore the world of electronic sports and video game
competitions as you learn to game like a pro!

Grand Slam Softball Camp
Fuqua's Softball Camp focuses on fundamentals and skill
development with an exciting game each day. The coaches will
give each camper individualized attention and drills so they can
continue to improve at home. Each day of camp will include
practice throwing, fielding, and hitting, followed by the
opportunity to apply new and improved skills in a daily game.
Each camper will leave camp as a better softball player with a
focus on the fundamentals of the game.

Lego Life Camp
Campers will follow model plans designed by engineers and
architects as they build with LEGO® bricks. This camp will help
children improve fine motor skills, build self-esteem, and learn
important classroom lessons such as organization and
following directions. Campers will also have the opportunity to
explore their imaginations through free play.

Mega Math Mania Camp
Campers will explore Math concepts through hands-on
activities, games, and much more. Campers will gain
confidence in Math as they work one-on-one with our certified
Math instructor. This math camp will also allow Fuqua students
to cross several of the math requirements off their summer to-
do lists.

Introduction to Beach Volleyball
The camp will include 45 minutes of instruction/drills each day
plus 60 minutes of team play. Players will be introduced to the
rules and basic fundamentals of the sport. Team play will
consist of mini games that allow athletes to play with a mix of
partners of varied experience and skill sets to improve their
own game and leadership/teammate skills.
Time: 5:30-7:15pm (Monday-Wednesday)
Cost: $75 per player

Beach Volleyball Intermediate/Advanced
To Start...for those who need it, there will be an intro to beach
volleyball rules and strategies clinic.
Next, instruction will be given to help develop techniques to
improve serving, passing, hitting and defensive skills. Skill
levels for each camper will be assessed and teams (depending
on the number of participants) will be chosen to play each
other in a 2's or 4's style format.
Time: 5:30-7:30pm (Wednesday-Friday)
Cost: $75 per player

Recycled Art Camp
Campers can create “upcycled” artwork, build small-scale
sculptures and craft using unconventional materials as we
explore creative ways to discover more about yourself and find
your authentic voice through art! Students will work on several
projects using recycled materials.

Let's Get Moving Well-Being Camp
Stronger, healthier, more active kids turn into healthy and
productive adults. Our movement and well-being camp ensures
your kids learn how to be their best by promoting body
positivity and an active lifestyle. Their camp training will
include exploring activities such as yoga, Pilates, Zumba,
dance, swimming and everyone’s favorite games like tag,
kickball, basketball, and beach volleyball. Students will make a
healthy snack each day and learn the importance of fueling a
healthy body, all while having fun.

On Two Wheels Biking Camp
Join us for an extra-fun, week-long extravaganza of off-campus
biking trips. Students will meet at Fuqua School each morning
and head off for local biking adventures. Campers must provide
their own bike and helmet.

Batter's Box Baseball Camp
Campers will have fun learning the technical, physical, and
strategic skills of baseball in an appropriate way based on all
skill levels. Players will work on drills, scrimmages, and full
games. Whether new to the sport or an experienced player,
campers will leave as better players.

Bookworms Camp
This camp will be focused on learning language arts skills
specifically related to the process of reading. Campers will
explore rich literature and writing through centers, individual
and small group instruction, exploration of books, and play to
help with reading readiness. Campers will work to complete
the project portion of their FIRP summer reading book report
projects!

Pirates and Fairies Camp
Arrgh! Join us for pirate and fairy adventures. Campers will
build a fairy garden to take home, treasure hunt, have
storytelling, crafts, map making and much more. Campers will
also visit the nature trail to see the Fuqua fairy house. Come
dressed as a pirate or fairy if you like. Get ready to set sail for a
week of FUN!

Fishing Adventures Camp
This camp focuses on teaching the entire process of fishing
from rigging rods, tying knots, and baiting hooks to driving
boats with trolling motors, all while introducing campers to the
great wealth of fishing opportunities the area has to offer. We
have access to some great private ponds and lakes. Parents may
attend the camp with younger campers for an additional fee of
$25. Campers will be provided a fishing rod but are also
welcomed to bring their own rod and tackle. Camp Fee: $150

Summer Sports Camp
Summer Sports is for campers who love sports, games, and
fitness activities! Campers will participate in a medley of sports
which may include basketball, soccer, baseball, kickball,
dodgeball, tennis, bowling, and Frisbee. Campers will be
divided by age group.

We've Got Spirit Cheer Camp
Do you have spirit? Let’s hear it! Catch the spirit of cheerleading
as you join The Fuqua School cheerleaders and coaches for a
week of fun. Campers will not only learn cheers and dances,
but will also work on the fundamentals of cheerleading,
including basic motions, and jumps. Campers will showcase
what they learn when they perform a mini routine for parents
and guests at week’s end. Camp participants will also perform
at one Fuqua Falcons home football game and one home
basketball game. They will also receive a super spirited cheer t-
shirt!

Scribbles and Wiggles Camp
A camp designed to help your little one prepare for school in
the fall, this camp will focus on strengthening the rising junior
kindergartners or kindergartner’s school readiness. Campers
will learn how to be a good listener, follow directions, hold a
crayon or pencil, identify letters and numbers, and other skills
to better prepare them for attending school in the fall. Of
course there will also be time for exercise and fun!

Into the Woods Nature Camp
Campers will explore the natural world. Take a walk on the
nature trail, identify natural creatures and their environments,
and improve the school's fishpond and nature trail. Creativity
and love of nature makes this camp a blast for all of our
intrepid junior explorers.

Full STEAM Ahead
For one week, students will be engaged in exploring a variety of
STEAM related activities (Science, Technology, Engineering,
Art, and Mathematics). This camp will include interactive
games and real-life scenarios that will make learning easy and
fun. Campers will participate in hands-on projects in building
and engineering. Age-appropriate technology will be
introduced to further enhance their abilities and growing
interest in STEAM.
