Horatio Alger Scholarship $10,000 to $25,000 State and National Scholarships for Juniors who are planning to attain a bachelor’s degree from a non-profit four-year institution. Students must have a 2.0 GPA, been involved in co- curricular and community service activities, be a US citizen and have a critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross income per family). University Ave., Laramie, WY 82071-3838 Deadline: March 15, 2022 UW Alumni Association Scholarships Each year, the University of Wyoming Alumni Association awards License Plate Funded Scholarship-In State to graduating high school seniors who will be attending UW in the fall. The funding is $6,000 for four years, paid over eight consecutive semesters, provided the recipient maintains a 2.5 cumulative grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester. Recipients must be attending UW at the Laramie Campus. Students will only be able to apply for scholarships once they have been accepted to attend the University of Wyoming and will need their WyoScholarships username and password to apply. Applicants must be a spring 2021 high school graduate, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be in the top third of his/her class, and have a minimum ACT score of 21 to qualify. Please note that applications must include applicant’s class ranking to be considered. Casper Area Education Foundation Trustee Scholarship (3 - $2,000.00 scholarships) The Casper Area Education Foundation Board of Trustees is seeking three graduating students who have demonstrated exceptional academic and personal growth while attending a district school. Successful applicants will also have a thoughtful plan for the future and hopes of giving back to a community. This community may be local, state, national or international. Please submit three paragraphs answering the following questions; Describe how you have grown academically and/or personally while at NCSD #1. Describe the vision you hold for your future. Do you hope to give back to a community? If so, please describe what you hope that might look like. Please submit two references along with your application. It is highly recommended that at least one recommendation by a school staff member and/or a community member that has witnessed your growth and knows about your future plans.
