Editorial “The lapping of the waves on the sand might seem monotonous, but look carefully, there is a new design each moment. ” Yes, we can start afresh, too and experience joy again. The year 2021 has come with a new ray of hope and life is slowly but steadily moving towards normalcy. Though the fear of the virus has still not gone completely, the development of the vaccine and the consequent drop in the number of cases have certainly ignited substantial hope and positivity. Everybody is applauding doctors, policemen, healthcare workers, teachers and others as Corona warriors, but there exists a remarkable league of student warriors. The lives of students witnessed a big change. They had to make huge efforts to comprehend the concepts taught online- a marked departure from the usual system of physical classroom. Confining to the four walls of their house, for months, they had to sacrifice their pleasure of playing with friends and playing pranks in the class and outside. I would like to commend the young ones for showing amazing understanding and embracing technology to serve their ends. Not only students even teachers got more empowered. As we are on the verge of stepping into a new session, many questions flood our minds as to what the future of education would be. Will it go the hybrid way? COVID-19 has definitely created an atmosphere for technology-enabled learning in India. It is high time that the educators should convert this adversity into opportunity to transform the Indian education and create a strong and reliable system that guarantees both excellence and expansion. The way forward would be to balance both in- person and online learning, to ensure that sufficient attention and interaction is available for students. Technology has proven to be a great equaliser and the current situation is prompting both teachers and students alike to become more and more techno-savvy thereby creating a better and result-oriented environment. Let us keep our spirits and determination sky high and we shall always walk on the road to glory. With courage, faith and efforts, I am sure each of us will achieve everything we desire. Best wishes to all of you for the new academic session! Happy Learning! Ms. Meera Kumar Iyer

Exuberant Expressions SWITCHOVER - ONLINE TO OFFLINE COVID-19 - A word we were absolutely not familiar with. A word that had taken 2.49 million deaths and counting. It has destroyed the world to a proportion that it will actually take years or decades to recover. Businesses plummeted and people died of hunger. This year, We students were introduced to a new platform, E-Learning, commonly known as Online learning was a way of studying to which most of us were obscure. It was the new normal. In my first class, All the concepts were abstruse. I was rather discomposed but over the year we students have adapted to this type of learning with the Countenance of our benevolent teachers. Online learning has advantages such as- 1) Ease of studying 2) No travel hassles and a few disadvantages as well, such as- 1) Internet Bandwidth issues 2) Teachers weren't able to keep an eye on the students, and thus to correct our mistakes. Now that the situation has improved, and we have switched back to our normal routine. Studying back in 'Offline' Mode has improved our mistakes and now that has made all the concepts clear. Even though COVID 19 had a lot of negatives but, it showed us the real meaning of our teachers and our school. No one can take the place of OFFLINE STUDIES and henceforth I hope that as this virus is becoming mere threadbare, all of the students get back to our normal routine because By LAKSHIT SACHDEVA (Class X)
FROM MOMENTS TO MEMORIES Lurking in my loneliest shadows, But here I stood rooted to the ground I thought of the moments that passed by Past not in hand, Leaving upon the faintest marks, Future not in place, I moved with regrets in my heart. And banging on my head was just present all around. Stunned by my growth, I cuddled with an isolation in me, Steadily drifting time made me realise, Beaming at me were my responsibilities that memories are like rocks in a pond which that do recklessly breed. we threw. And life is an enlightened path, Lying on the rug, In which we unsolicitedly grew.. I drowned in my memories Memories of childhood, and memories of no worries. Stagnant were the days in me, Wherein I would just tug at my father's pants, To buy me a candy, By NANDIKA BHARGAVA (Class XI) or a toy which is grand.
