The Saltire Society International Travel Bursaries 2015

travel.

The shortlist and winning entry will be chosen by an adjudication panel of experts in the relevent
field.

The Saltire Society International Travel Bursary categories are:

• Architecture

• Arts and Crafts in Architecture

• Civil Engineering

• Creative Writing

• Music

‘I was thrilled to win the Saltire International Travel Award last year. To be able to travel to Catalonia
and learn more about the local music, language and culture is the opportunity of a lifetime. Having
studied Scottish musical heritage in Plockton, I’m really excited to learn what comparisons can be drawn
between the very different traditions of Scotland and Catalonia.’

                                                                       Innes White, music bursary winner
