SALEM HILLS HIGH SCHOOL March 23, 2021 SOURCES OF INFORMATION (Website) shhs.nebo.edu (Instagram) salem_hills (Facebook) salem hills high school GRADUATION INFORMATION Salem Hills High School graduation will be here on campus, May 27th @ 10:00AM. More info to come. The PTA are taking preorders for Leis (See attached flyer for more info) SNOW COLLEGE “BADGER DAY BLAST” This day event is for Junior and Senior’s only. There are multiple days available, see the attached flyer for more details. Salem Hills Prom 2021 “A Night in the Spotlight’ April 17th, 2021 @ SHHS $30 per couple or $15 per person. All students will need to have their student ID and show a negative test at the door. (Covid tests will be provided by the school) More info to follow with dates and times of testing.
Scholarship info: Make sure and check with the Counseling office for updated scholarship info SENIORS, start applying for scholarships today! Stop by the counseling office and check out the local scholarships just for Salem Hills High School. Don't miss the scholarship deadlines. You can also find all scholarships on the SHHS scholarship webpage: website: https://shhscounseling.wixsite.com/website/scholarships ***click on Current Scholarship*** Academic Letters Seniors stop by the counseling office to see if you qualify for an Academic/Departmental Letter. You can earn an Academic Letter in the following departments: Business, English, Fine Arts, Foreign Language, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Applications are due by Friday, April 16th! Scholarship Reporting Seniors, we know how hard you have worked this year and we want to hear about it! We want to recognize you at the Senior Scholarship/Awards Assembly in May. Fill out the following google doc for EACH scholarship you have been offered: Scholarship Reporting Utah Energy Workforce Scholarship (See attached flyer) The Governor’s office of Energy Development is proud to partner with Chevron Corporation to award the Utah Energy Workforce Scholarship-helping students pursue energy and minerals careers through STEM degrees or licensed certificates from Utah Universities or technical colleges. We are looking for some M & M’s (Mighty Maskers) Administration, Teachers, and Secret Agents in the halls will be watching and rewarding students who are wearing their masks correctly in class and in the halls. Join the M & M team and continue to keep each other healthy and safe. You never know who’s watching….
Angel Salas- Soccer “ G, as we like to call him, is off to a great start this soccer season. It’s impressive because he is playing in a new position where we really needed to use him. He came into this season fit and ready to contribute. His attitude this year has been outstanding. He does everything for the good of the team.
