AQUATICS PROGRAMS The Saleeby Family YMCA is home to a year-round, indoor, 25 yard pool for recreational, instructional and certification use. We’ll host a variety of classes including swim lessons, water fitness, lifeguard certifica- tion and times for open lap and recreational swim! GROUP SWIM LESSONS: Beginning February 3rd! Swim lessons are offered on a monthly basis for ages 6 months to adult! Classes will meet twice a week, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday or once a week on Saturdays for 8 total classes. COST : Members: $42 Non-members: $82 AQUA FITNESS CLASSES: We will offer a variety of water aerobics classes. These classes are free and included in your membership cost unless specified. Classes will appeal to all fitness levels and abilities! Stay tuned for schedules, classes will begin February 3rd! LIFEGUARD/CPR/AMERICAN RED CROSS CERTIFICATIONS: Interested in becoming certified as a lifeguard? Throughout the year we’ll host lifeguard certification courses, CPR training and various other American Red Cross certification classes. Dates, information and details to come! YOUTH PROGRAMS CHILD WATCH: We know it’s hard to find time for a workout when you’re a busy parent! We provided Child Watch as part of your Family Membership. During Child Watch hours, just check in your child while you work out, take an exercise class or swim laps. (2-hour daily limit). WHO: Ages 6 weeks to 11 years COST: Free with family membership! PRESCHOOL RESOURCE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (PREP): The Saleeby Family YMCA will offer a half day preschool program Monday-Friday from 8am-12pm. Program participants will learn about shapes, numbers, letters and more! Our daily schedule includes a variety of activities including art, role play, movement to music, reading and sports with a new theme each week! Healthy snacks and drinks provided daily! WHO: Ages 2.5-5 WHEN: Monday-Friday 8:30am-12pm beginning February 3rd COST: Members $39 per week Non-members: $54 per week $35 registration fee SUMMER DAY CAMP: School’s out, summer camp is in! Come on out to the YMCA for the Best Summer Ever! Designed for children ages 5-13, campers will learn new games an skills, develop confidence and build lasting friendships. Each week will have a fun theme and will include daily projects, games, activities, field trips, swimming and more! WHO: Ages 5-13 years WHEN: Weekdays beginning June 10th COST: $134 per week $35 registration fee for non-members BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE: Beginning with the 2020-2021 school year, the Saleeby Family YMCA is proud to offer before and after school care. Children will have a healthy snack and time for homework and then participate in structured activities such as sports, crafts and games. More information coming soon! TEACHER WORKS DAYS AND SCHOOL CLOSINGS: The Y will provide full-day care on Harnett County School Districts teacher work days and school closings. Bring the family over for an action-packed day at the Y! COST: $29 for one child; $49 for two children; $59 for three or more children .

Inquire with Welcome Center Staff. POLICIES CLASS OR PROGRAM CANCELLATION: All classes, programs and scheduled activities are subject to minimum enrollment and may be changed with limited noticed. All participants will be notified if schedule changes occur. Programs or activities requiring paid registration are eligible to be refunded if the YMCA cancels the program. Participants must complete a Refund/Credit Request form at the Welcome Center. INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the case of inclement weather, our facility will adhere to the following policy: Aquatics: The Y temporarily delays access to the pool for 30-minutes after any seen or heard lightening strike or clap of thunder. Closures may be announced after consulting local weather service agencies if severe storms are in the area. Closing or Delay (Facility): The Y makes every attempt to be open during inclement weather. If you believe a Y facility may be closed due to weather related issues, please look for updates on the homepage of the website or social media. Child Care (Preschool and After School): If there is a county school delay, pre-school is still open normal hours. If school is cancelled, preschool and after school programs are also cancelled. Fitness Classes: Scheduled group exercise classes may be modified following Harnett County School District delays or closures. Please call the YMCA directly to confirm cancellations. PAYMENT AND BILLING: Monthly membership dues will be drafted automatically from the credit card of bank account you provide. Members may also choose to purchase a semi annual or annual package. The YMCA accepts all major credit cards, cash or check for payment. All membership cancellations require a 30 day written notice and the return of your membership card. Memberships may be placed on hold for up to 90 days annually with 30 days written notice. CODE OF CONDUCT: YMCA members will always treat staff, equipment and facilities with respect and act in accordance with Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. By signing on as a member of the Y community, those participating in programs or utilizing YMCA facilities pledge to follow all policies. DRESS CODE: The YMCA is a family-friendly Association requiring shirts and shoes throughout the building, except the pool area and designated locker rooms. When in the Wellness Center, members must wear modest, age-appropriate exercise apparel. Open toed shoes are not allowed and apparel that may damage upholstery is not allowed. Vinyl or rubber suits designed to increase perspiration are prohibited. Proper court shoes must be worn on playing surfaces in the gymnasium. LOST AND FOUND: The YMCA is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Please inquire at the Welcome Center if you have lost an item. GUESTS: Visitors are welcome to visit and use our facilities within these established guidelines: • Members may sponsor up to FIVE guests annually per membership unit. • All guests over the age of 16 must present valid photo identification for entry • All guests must complete registration at the Welcome Center • Youth under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to complete guest registration • Guests of the Y that are visiting WITHOUT a member are subject to a day pas fee, $10 for adults, $5 for youth. • Guests have full access to the facility including Child Watch. In order to utilize Child Watch, guests must pay a $5 day pass fee for the child regardless or whether or not they are with a member.
