Hello We admit it feels so unnatural to write to someone we haven’t met, but we think about you often and wonder what you are like. We already know you are strong, loving, and brave because you have chosen to give your child the gift of life. Adoption is something we are not taking lightly. We are fully prepared to offer everything we have to provide love, support, encouragement, happiness, stability, and faith. We long to add to our family, and we feel like adoption is God’s will for us. We look forward to the possibility of meeting you and answering any questions you have! With love, Ashley and Andrew
This Is Us We initially met on eHarmony in 2009! However, we didn’t start dating until five years later in when we re-met at a 4th of July party. We’ve been together ever since. For our engagement, Andrew planned a day-long date. We went to all our favorite places. He had thrown me off the trail the night before by loudly telling a friend in a “private” conversation that he didn’t know when he was going to propose. As our date was coming to a close, we were sitting under a gazebo in my neighborhood. When I was least expecting it, he pulled a ring out of his shirt pocket and got down on one knee to ask me to marry him. I was so shocked it took me a while to register what had happened. We waited a long time to find each other, but we would both say it was worth the wait! Honestly, our wedding was amazing. Our ceremony was at a church with big white doors. My dad is a minister, and he performed the ceremony. We each had ten attendants and invited all our friends, family, and co-workers because we were so excited to share in the joy. We had our reception at the Marriot Hotel. We had great food, champagne for toasts, and lots of dancing. Through a sea of bubbles, we walked out of the reception as our friends and family said goodbye. It was a magical night we will always remember.

Andrew by Ashley Andrew is always on time. He is exceptional with details and takes care of the bills and all the things I don’t enjoy. Although naturally shy, he is very talkative with the people he’s closest to. I love to hear him laugh when he’s watching TV—he has a loud belly laugh that makes you smile. When I met Andrew, I almost immediately felt like he was someone I could trust, and I knew he was a rare find. I knew I could be open and share my real self with him. I feel like he has a lot to give emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Andrew is an amazing dad. He spends time with Ezra daily and adjusts his work schedule to do it. He is kind, patient, and plays with Ezra even when he’s tired. He cooks for all of us and makes Ezra his favorite things. Thoughts Of The Future We plan to raise our children to be strong Christians who can stand firm in an ever-changing culture. In addition to going to church weekly, we plan to encourage our children in joining Christian youth groups and mission trips. Since we have an excellent public school system, we plan to send our children there unless there is a good reason not to. Of course, in the future, we will encourage and help with trade school or college. We look forward to guiding them and helping them become loving, kind people who are assets to their community.
One Last Thing We promise to love your child deeply. We promise to offer encouraging words along with hugs and kisses every day. We promise to let your child be who God made them to be. We promise to love them unconditionally. We promise to believe in your child and to fight for your child. You are part of your child’s story, and we promise to keep it that way.
Thank You!
