Hello everyone,
Junior dinner and sleepover - tonight
Our Junior’s are very excited for their dinner party tonight followed by the Year 2 sleepover. Thank you to Ms Kim Cornell
for organising and supporting the event. Stay tuned for the next Kid’s Corner to hear about their experience.

Family Fun Day – tomorrow Friday 8th November
The annual school Walk-a-thon is tomorrow and whilst it looks like
raining we will still plan to go ahead with the walk at 2.00pm. If the
forecast is clear enough for the afternoon we will still walk from 2:00-
3:00pm. If not we will reschedule and walk one day next week during
PE. The Family BBQ, garage sale and performances can all continue ir-
relevant of the weather. We have enough sheltered space. I know of
some eager students who have been collecting sponsors and have their
eye on the printers in the office. The student who raises the most mon-
ey and the student who completes the most laps and obtains sponsor-
ship will take home a Deskjet (print/scan/copy) printer. Sponsor forms
and money are due back to
                                        school on Friday 15th November.
If you intend to join us for the BBQ and have not let the office know of your
attendance please do so before 9am tomorrow for catering purposes.
Plants in
The Senior students supported by Trish and Miss Wise have done a great job to continue weeding and thanks to Jess’s or-
ganisation they have planted this week. The rain will now be supporting the growth. The students aim to offer produce to
parents at school assembly to support their involvement in the community and fundraising.

Hot lunch
On offer for hot lunch next week are noodles. Please have forms returned at the latest by Tuesday morning.

                                                Gummy Bear Travels
Once a Gummy Bear lived in another solar system. The planets name was
Keiper 5680. It had mountains, rivers and it was green and purple. All the
Gummy Bears that lived there were happy until… a comet as big as Jupiter hit
the planet. One of the Gummy Bears got blasted to Earth. The Gummy Bear
met another Gummy Bear and they had a chat for 30 minutes. They travelled
to America and thought it was nice. They then decided to travel the world.

Lila and the lighthouse
On top of a rocky hill stood an old lighthouse. People say the water near the lighthouse is a good sailing spot so she decid-
ed to sail there as well. It was a muggy night and Lila was sailing her boat she had just sailed past the lighthouse when her
boat broke down. Lila put more petrol in her boat but it still didn’t start.
Lila decided she would swim to the lighthouse and stay the night. The next morning Lila went inside the lighthouse, she
thought it looked so pretty with it spiral staircase, it looked so professional. Lila felt like she was being followed, she was,
but she didn’t know she was being followed. By a man called Roberto and he was the one who broke Lila’s boat.
When Lila looked for someone to help fix her boat no one was there though. Usually there are people with activities to do
but there was no one at all. Lila saw a door she thought maybe people where there but they weren’t, it was just a storage
door and a little staff area.
It was so weird having no one there, it is usually packed with people but not today. Lila thought it was the most unusual
thing ever. When Lila was walking up the stairs she noticed a man following her the man looked so weird because he was
wearing binoculars and his name was Roberto.
Lila thought maybe this man has been following me the whole time and maybe he broke my boat. Lila felt so scared she
didn’t know what to do she wanted to run down the stairs but
he was blocking the way down. Lila ran to the balcony of the
stairs and Roberto went there too. Lila thought to herself it is a
long way down someone might get hurt
Lila and Roberto where fighting and all of a sudden Lila pushed
Roberto off the balcony. Lila ran down to Roberto and checked
his pulse, it had stopped pumping, Lila quickly dragged Rob-
erto into a bush and hid him with a branch that had fallen on a
log so no one would know he was killed by Lila. No one ever
saw Lila again.
