Tema do 3º Domingo do Tempo Comum – Ano B
A liturgia do 3º Domingo do Tempo Comum propõe-nos a continuação da reflexão iniciada no pas-
sado domingo. Recorda, uma vez mais, que Deus ama cada homem e cada mulher e chama-o à vida
plena e verdadeira. A resposta do homem ao chamamento de Deus passa por um caminho de con-
versão pessoal e de identificação com Jesus.
Pimeira Leitura- Jonas 3,1-5.10
A primeira leitura diz-nos - através da história do envio do profeta Jonas a pregar a conversão aos habitantes de Nínive - que
Deus ama todos os homens e a todos chama à salvação. A disponibilidade dos ninivitas em escutar os apelos de Deus e em
percorrer um caminho imediato de conversão constitui um modelo de resposta adequada ao chamamento de Deus.
Segunda Leitura- 1 Coríntios 7, 29-31
A segunda leitura convida o cristão a ter consciência de que "o tempo é breve" - isto é, que as realidades e valores deste
mundo são passageiros e não devem ser absolutizados. Deus convida cada cristão, em marcha pela história, a viver de olhos
postos no mundo futuro - quer dizer, a dar prioridade aos valores eternos, a converter-se aos valores do "Reino".
Evangelho- Mc 1,14-20
No Evangelho aparece o convite que Jesus faz a todos os homens para se tornarem seus discípulos e para integrarem a sua
comunidade. Marcos avisa, contudo, que a entrada para a comunidade do Reino pressupõe um caminho de "conversão" e
