Kolejna niedziela gromadzi nas na wspólną Eucharystię Chrystusa i Kościoła. Jak zawsze, przynosimy przed Boży
ołtarz nasze codzienne sprawy, nie bacząc na to, że nasze prośby się powtarzają i że popadamy w te same
słabości. Ten nasz swoisty upór podobny jest do postawy Abrahama, który wstawiał się za swoim ludem. Takiej
modlitwy nauczył nas Jezus, abyśmy - - - naśladując Jego ufność w Boże miłosierdzie - - - wytrwale prosili.
Modlitwa towarzyszyła człowiekowi od początku dziejów. Każdy Izraelita rozmawiał z Bogiem, który objawiał się
jako dobry Ojciec, czuły na potrzeby swojego ludu. Jezus nauczył nas modlitwy, która jest przede wszystkim
uwielbieniem Ojca oraz wyrazem ufności w miłosierdzie Boga, który zna potrzeby człowieka. Modlitwa Nowego
Przymierza ma być nacechowana pokorą i wypływać z czystego serca.
