The IDRenew Kiosk was developed exclusively for military
retirees and dependents who need to renew their military ID card.
How does it work? It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! Located at
Step 1: Have your sponsor certify a DD Form 1172-2. • Bldg. 905, Base Library
Step 2: Use the kiosk to submit your application. • Bldg. 982, Robins Main
Step 3: Pick up your ID Card later, when it’s ready. Exchange
What will you need?
You will need 2 forms of identification As always, questions
• Both IDs must be approved forms of ID about the IDRenew Kiosk
• Names on both IDs must match exactly
• Neither ID can be expired or cancelled
and all of the information
Less common documents you might need provided can be addressed
• A lost or stolen memorandum to the Military Personnel
• Retirement orders if you or the sponsor is retiring
• A letter from the Registrar if dependent is over

What does being an (Lead Caregiver) member mean to
you? Having a great deal of responsibility. Our mission to
provide quality care to children and be responsible for children. But the mission
does not stop there. Mentoring newer staff and teaching others what it means to
provide quality care. It requires that I am always ontop of my game.
How has the (Child and Youth Flight) affected you? Recently I lost my father and
when I returned to work, I found myself very emotional. However, the children
supported me emotionally. They all welcomed me back with lots of hugs and
embraces. Their excitement and reaction helped me heal emotionally.
What are your goals in the Air Force? Become a trainer or assistant director.
What is your favorite saying/motto? Be more than a conqueror. Never quit even if
you are knocked down, remember to find strength to get back up. Think positive and
you will succeed.
Who is the person you most respect and why? My daughter, Taylor. I have watched
her grow into the young lady she is today. She has most definitely taught me a lot
and has shown me not to ever give up and most importantly, to never quit. She has

What does being an Honor Guard member mean to you?
Being an Honor Guard member means that I get to represent the
Air Force in a way that impacts others who have served before as well as A1C Mikayla Petersen
honoring all members of the Air Force; past, present and even future.
What our appearance and duties represent to others can sometimes be beyond measurable to them.
How has the Honor Guard affected you?
I've already learned so much from everyone else that I work with here that helps me view the Air Force in a
new way. Also, I view the value of official events no matter what they are with a higher standard; one that
I can appreciate.
What do you feel you have to offer the Honor Guard?
Positivity is important to my daily life and I like to bring that energy into work and with the people around
me. I also can't step down from a challenge, so if something may be difficult for me I'll push myself to get
better.
What are your goals in the Air Force?
Within the next 3 years, I would like to commission. Beyond that, I just want to experience every opportunity
the Air Force throws at me.

You tell your own story. If you don't like something about your life, change it. It's never too late to start a new
chapter.

The person I respect most is my dad. He helped raise me to be the person I am and continues to live a full and
