From the Pastor’s Desk My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ! Few weeks ago our parish began its participation in the Archdiocesan “Renew My Church” campaign. Our parish “TEAM” meets through the internet with the members of teams from our neighboring parishes (St. Fabian, St. Gerald, St. Louis de Montfort). Together through prayer and discussion and trust we look for spiritual and material solutions for our parish communities. In a near future our “TEAM” will provide more information. I invite all of you to pray the words of prayer written by St. Francis of Assisi: Lord Jesus, you speak to us today, as you spoke to holy men and women who have gone before us. In every age and in our own time, you call to us and say: Renew My Church. Pour out the gift of your Holy Spirit upon us, and so enable us to hear you clearly to listen to each other attentively, to imagine our future boldly, to discern your direction wisely, to persevere in your holy will, courageously, to stay together in charity, to surrender our own plans readily, to embrace the greater good, to hand on your gifts to future generations. May we remain in the holy company of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the apostles and all the saints. May their example and presence inspire us with patient confidence in the work of your grace. We ask this of you who live and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen Throughout the month of November we will pray for our beloved, deceased family members and friends, who departed with the sign of faith and rest in peace. Special envelopes may be obtained after each Mass from our parish ushers. ”Jesus, I Trust in You”! Fr. Mariusz SAINTS ISAAC JOGUES (1560-1646) AND JOHN DE BRÉBEUF ST. St. Albert the Great School Just Keep Swimming Great things happen @ St. Albert the Great! Dear St. Albert the Great Parishioners, Happy Fall to everyone! Every week, I would like to send you an update on how things are going at the school, as we embark upon this new reality in the wake of the Covid pandemic. School is different today with social distancing, wearing masks, having remote learners and in-school learners at the same me. So far this school year, we have been able to implement full- me in-person learning in our school. This is very difficult to do because we have to keep our students 6 feet apart at all mes. We have a very good safety plan for our students that the Archdiocese has approved. In order to keep our children safe, we must clean and disinfect a er classrooms are used throughout the day. New protocols had to be established with our drop off and pick up mes for students. Our parents have been absolutely wonderful adjus ng to all these new “rules”. In the classroom, the teachers are doing wonderful work establishing new procedures and safety protocols. This month, we are amping up our focus back to personalized learning strategies in the classroom which enable students to be advocates for their learning. Addi onally, we have been working hard to make sure that Christ is always present in the lives of our children. We have implemented a weekly prayer service that our teachers put together, and we pray the Rosary together as a school via Google Meet every Friday a ernoon. We would also like to thank Fr. Bernardo for leading us in our pet blessing on the Feast of St. Francis! Maintaining our connec on with our faith is more important now than ever. Our work con nues to bring Christ into the lives of our students everyday, and to empower them to become future disciples for our Church. Wishing you the warmest blessings of this fall season! Z biurka Ks. Proboszcza Moi Drodzy Parafianie i Goście! Od kilku tygodni kontynuujemy w naszej parafii program „Renew My Church-Odnów Mój Kościół”. Zachęcam wszystkich parafian i gości do żarliwej modlitwy słowami św. Dostrzegamy w świecie jedynie bezpośrednie przyczyny i skutki naszych działań. Zbigniew Sobolewski W sobotę, 24-go października o godz. Serdecznie wszystkich zapraszamy do udziału!!! Page 7
