Getting started Let’s work together to promote your skill sets and ability to deliver successful customer outcomes. Steps to take You may already qualify for one or more of these competencies if your consultants have completed training from Sage University and have proven success with customers. Reach out to your Sage Partner Account Manager or Customer Success Manager about your qualifications. We recommend the following steps to acquire your company competencies: 1 Consider which competencies speak to opportunities for your business and align with your partnership agreement with Sage. Discuss the competencies with your Sage Partner Account 2 Manager or Partner Success Manager as part of your business / success plan, including the commitment of resources. 3 Nominate the minimum number of staff needed to complete the certification learning paths to achieve your company competency award. 4 Once all requirements are confirmed as having been met, with the help of your Account Manager, engage the local program team to issue your company recognition. Sage ERP competency This competency demonstrates that your team has the wide range of skills necessary to advise, implement, and support customers in using ERP software to drive their business. Sage X3 Cloud-Hosted specialization This specialization is for partners who have achieved the ERP competency and as part of their business model, host Sage X3 in a data center and deliver it to customers on a subscription basis. Sage Partner Cloud Certified specialization (Sage 100/300) This specialization supports the Sage Partner Cloud Program and shows that you have the skills and knowledge to set up a new instance of Sage 100 or 300 in the Azure cloud, using the Sage Provisioning Portal. With many customers moving from on-premises to cloud-hosted solutions, this is an important competency for many partners. This specialization shows you are able to: Applicable products • Create new accounts, assign Azure subscriptions, and provision instances of Sage business management software. Applicable products (as Sage 100 available in Region) Sage 300 • Add, assign, and manage customer operations agents, administrators, and users.
