Member Testimonial As newly retired members of the Clarington community, we felt motivated to focus on fitness and the excitement of an active lifestyle. Choosing a Personal Trainer has had the benefit of understanding our personal strengths, weaknesses and the ability to set goals. Has it been successful? A resounding yes seems appropriate. Training started with an assessment of our personal abilities and areas that could be improved. This in itself was both eye-opening and useful. Our next delight came from the development of programs that were specific to our needs. Every exercise that was assigned had a clearly defined benefit that matched our expressed goals. We are also delighted with the fluidity and ongoing changes our trainer makes to Fitness the exercises as we progress in ability and come closer to meeting our goals. We have just returned from a running event in Burlington. We are both delighted to have achieved a personal best in these races. To say we are extremely pleased with having a Personal Trainer and the door this decision has opened…somehow feels like an understatement. www.clarington.net/beACTIVE 25
