                                     Customize Your Experience
   PULSE offers three blocks from which students can choose to customize their experience. Students should choose to
   participate in two (2) separate blocks: Kickoff Speaker, Workshops, or Serve Project. These events will offer multiple
   opportunities for professional development, personal enrichment, tips for student success, and the chance to network
   with leaders in your industry, meet new people, visit areas of Wallace State you normally wouldn’t, and have fun.

This interactive workshop will provide the participant with an opportunity to experience different changes in our body that occur due to disability, medical
condition, or natural aging. Also, changes in manual dexterity will be experienced, as well as cataracts and other eye disorders. If you have ever wondered
why another car is “cutting you off in traffic,” this is a great workshop for you! You will find out what it’s like to have glaucoma and macular degeneration
and to be color blind.

Fall Color for Flower Beds
Student volunteers will plant flowers at various locations on campus.
Mobility Carts Move the World
Student volunteers will work with Mobility Worldwide in Huntsville assisting with building personal mobility carts for shipment around the world to individu-
als who have mobility problems. Tasks may include welding, painting, upholstery, assembly, or crating for shipment.
PULSE Photography Crew
Student volunteers will document PULSE 2021 activities/events with their own cameras (SLRs or smartphones).
PULSE Videography Crew
Student volunteers will record PULSE 2021 workshops for live stream and/or recorded videos for students to view at a later time. Equipment will be provid-
ed.
Read With SKD!
Student volunteers will read to pre-kindergarten, first- and second-grade students at Hanceville Elementary, Cullman Christian School and Cullman Primary;
these will be listed as three separate projects. Sponsored by WSCC Sigma Kappa Delta.
