EMERGENCY CLOSINGS AND DISMISSALS EMERGENCY CLOSINGS AND DISMISSALS School closings and early dismissals due to inclement weather or emergencies will be announced to parents using the email and phone blast systems. Log on to the District’s website (www.byramhills.org) for information about school closings. The District’s emergency hotline number is 273-7250. SNOW DAYS Four snow days have been built into the 2021-2022 calendar. If no days are used, schools will be closed May 26*, May 27*, and May 31*. If one day is used, school will be closed May 27* and May 31*. If two days are used, school will only be closed May 27*. If three or four days are used, the calendar stands as printed. In the event that school must be closed due to emergency conditions for more than the four allocated days, and in the event that remote school days cannot occur, the necessary number of days will be made up using April 11** as the first make-up day; April 12** as the second make-up day and April 13** as the third make-up day. As new NYS testing requirements are announced, some calendar adjustments may be necessary. 2020-2021 Cum Laude Inductees 5
