GENERAL INFORMATION MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR This Spring and Summer season is full of exciting things to do for everyone in Lee County. We have added many new programs and classes at our recreation and community centers. Summer Camp 2019 will provide affordable day camp to over 1,000 children in Lee County at 14 different campsites. Spring training season is coming to Jetblue Park and CenturyLink Stadium. Our four community pools are gearing up for the busy season, including the newly constructed North Fort Myers Community Pool. Additionally, the Lehigh Acres Senior Citizen Center was recently integrated into the Lee County Parks & Recreation Department. For many years, the senior center has offered quality programs for the senior community in Lehigh Acres and we look forward to continuing this tradition. We are excited to welcome the members and amazing staff of the center to our Parks & Recreation family! The Program Guide is a twice-yearly brochure we use to share information about our upcoming programs in our recreation centers and parks. For even more information you should look to Director of Parks & Recreation our website, where we post updates and news as it happens. Please take some time to browse Jesse Lavender through this brochure and spend this season out in nature enjoying our parks and beaches, leeparks@leegov.com soaking up the sun and having fun! (239) 533-7275 WE ARE HERE FOR YOU We commit to build upon the collaborative relationship we have maintained over the years between Lee County government and the community we serve. We work to do that better each and every day as we move forward with new projects, programs and activities. We strive to maintain open communication through publications like this, online through our website and social media, and in person at our parks.
