Presidents Report Welcome to the February edition of the Small Ford Car Club newsletter. Our next event is our 30th Anniversary Dinner. It will be a great evening with great food and fellowship with all who are attending. Thank you to all that have braved the COVID and are attending but the venue is as safe as houses, with the club providing a COVID officer for the night. Our last Club outing was our Christmas function at Mount Annan Botanical Gardens. It was a fun outing with plenty of food and drink to go around. The weather was very mild with a gentle zephyr all day. This year we should be back too normal so that Santa can visit once more. Regarding our Concours at Camden, I am confident will be back on the agenda for this November, Phil is still in contact with the Council to ensure it can go ahead. In saying that, it should not be long before we get information on our regular annual shows. Again, it is very gratifying to see new members and the growing number of enquires that the committee members have received from folk wishing to join our club, we are still growing despite COVID! Please keep up to date with events on Facebook and the Forum, again my thanks to Sharee our moderator for all her efforts and to Jim for his continued excellent input on Facebook and to John for his Forum updates. We covered a variety of topics at our last committee meeting; The two main topics being the Dinner and creating a Club Events Committee to oversee the calendar and to suggest new events for the future. This position is primarily to check the calendar to make sure the upcoming events are able to be held. If anyone is in a position to look after the club trailer, please let me know as it is a finite time as to how long I can do it. We as a Car Club have weathered the COVID storm and are in an extraordinarily strong position going forward into 2021! I thank all
the committee members for all their aide over the last 15 months COMMITTEE 2020/2021 and look forward to the next step forward for the Club with this PRESIDENT: great committee at the helm!
