As you make your way into the belly of the Horseshoe Falls, you will feel the refreshing spray and hear the roar of her majesty as 600,000 gallons of water rush over the cliffs every second. Hang on tight as you feel the churning water below you make its way down the Niagara River. Once back on land, you can choose to climb a series of steps to the “Crows Nest” at the base of the American Falls for more of a multi‐sensory experience before taking the elevator back up to the observation deck. Also in your travels, you’ll visit Goat Island where the Cave of the Winds is located. At the Cave of the Winds, you’ll first spend a few minutes in their interactive museum exhibit, giving you the hands‐on opportunity to learn some of the science behind Niagara Falls.
Next, you’ll take a seat in the climate‐controlled theatre for a short film called “The World Changed Here.” This seven‐minute film tells the story of two notable men‐ Nickola Tesla and Frederick Law Olmstead, and how their ideas have helped shape what Niagara Falls is today, and how, due to their contributions, Niagara Falls continues to impact the rest of the world. Have your passports ready as you cross the international border to visit Niagara Falls, Canada! Your first stop will be at Queen Victoria Place Restaurant, offering spectacular views of the Falls, friendly service, and delicious food. As it enters its 113th year in the heart of Queen Victoria Park, Queen Victoria Place Restaurant offers the very best of Niagara through Chef Sidney Krick’s locally sourced menu, paired with a diverse Niagara VQA wine list and craft beer menu. After lunch, you’ll spend the afternoon exploring Niagara Falls, Canada! Take in the soaring panoramic views of the Niagara region at the Skylon Tower Observation Deck. Sitting 775 feet above the brink of the Horseshoe Falls, the 360 degree observation deck allows you see the Falls from a perspective like you’ve never imagined, as well sprawling city‐scapes to the north! On a clear day, you might even be able to see the City of Toronto skyline, which is located 90 miles North of Niagara Falls. You’ll also have the opportunity to get up close to the Class V Rapids on the White Water Walk at the base of the Niagara Gorge. The roar of the river provides a deceptive calmness as you take your relaxing walk along the several viewing platforms of the Lower Niagara River.
