Registration
Entry Deadline: 11:59pm, Monday, January 17, 2022
Age Categories: Masters (30+) Born on January 23, 1992, or before
U18, U20, Open Born in 2005 or before
Eligibility: Athletes residing in Ontario must be registered and their clubs affiliated for 2022 with
Athletics Ontario by the Entry Deadline. Athletes registered with Athletics Ontario as
“Unattached” or “Disassociated” do not require a club affiliation.
Athletes residing in Ontario but representing a club from outside the province must be
registered with their association and must be entered by their respective clubs. Athletes
residing outside of Ontario must be registered for 2022 with their provincial or state
associations. Out of country athletes must contact Randolph Fajardo at
randolphfajardo@athleticsontario.ca to be entered in the event. Please ensure you
provide your membership number from your respective athletics federation, date of
birth, and events you would like to enter to expedite your registration.
Fees: Regular Deadline: Masters $25 for first event / $10 per additional
January 17 at 11:59pm EST Open $25 per event
Late Deadline: Individual $50 per event
January 20 at 10:00am EST *All fees include HST and Trackie fees.

All payments are made via Trackie with on-line payment.
Late Entries: Entries will be accepted after the regular entry deadline of Monday, January 17,
11:59pm EST but fees will be increased as stated above in the “Fees” section. The
deadline for late entries will be Thursday January 20 at 10:00am EST. To be eligible for
post entry, athletes must have been registered with the provincial branch by the time of
entry. See “Eligibility” on page 3. Entries received after this deadline will be accepted at
the discretion of Athletics Ontario and only if it does not cause a disruption to the
conduct of the meet.
Confirmation: Event confirmation can be viewed immediately after registering for your events online
on Trackie.ca at http://www.trackiereg.com/2022-winter-mini-meet-2.
Performance Lists: An initial performance list will be posted on the event page on Tuesday, January 18
following the regular deadline. The final performance list will be posted on Thursday,

Waiver: Every participant is required to sign the waiver form attached. For athletes under the
age of 18, a parent or guardian’s signature must appear on the waiver. The waiver form
must be submitted at the registration desk before picking up athlete bib numbers or
emailed to Randolph Fajardo at randolphfajardo@athleticsontario.ca before the
competition. The individual waiver can be found at the end of this document.

Schedule: The schedule is subject to minor adjustments. Please refer to the championship
webpage for all up-to-date information: https://athleticsontario.ca/event/2022-winter-
mini-meet-2/. A final schedule will be posted by January 20 by 4:00pm EST.
Check-In Procedure: Athletes will only need to show up to the start line or at their specific field event before
the competition starts and check-in with officials.
Implements: Athlete must bring their own implement. Implements may be shared between athletes
from the same club. Absolutely no sharing of implements between athletes of different
clubs.
Awards: No awards will be given at this competition

Seed Times: Seed performances are required when entering registering for the event. Performances
from the indoor season of 2019 and onward will be pulled up automatically. Estimated
seed performances may also be entered. Please be as accurate as possible if estimating
that seeds.
Protests and Appeals: All protests and appeals must be made as outlined in Word Athletics (WA) rule 8. The
full WA rule book can be found under the Manual & Guidelines menu on the following
website https://www.worldathletics.org/about-iaaf/documents/technical-information.
If no protest is received within the above-mentioned time limit, the result as released
will stand. If a protest changes a result, 30 minutes will be allowed following the
announcement or release of the decision for appeals to be brought forward. The
decision of the referee may be appealed to the Jury of Appeal whose decision is final.
The cost of $25.00 will be returned if the protest is upheld or not considered frivolous
by the Jury.

Vaccination Status: Vaccination status will be checked upon arrival by Toronto Track and Field staff. All
competitors, coaches, and spectators MUST show proof of vaccination to be allowed
into the facility. Please do not register for the competition if you do not have proof of
vaccination or proof of a medical exemption from a medical professional.
Masks: All participants present at the competition site must always wear a mask. Athletes must
wear a mask until they begin their warmup or are competing. Upon the completion of
an event, an athlete must put their mask back on if they are staying in the facility to
watch other events during the day.
Results: Results will be posted on Sunday January 23, 2022, following the completion of the

Photos: Photos captured by the Athletics Ontario team will be posted on the Athletics Ontario

athletes are given the opportunity to sign a waiver/release form regarding photography.

IN CONSIDERATION of the acceptance of my application and the permission to participate as an entrant or competitor in the
Winter Mini Meet 2 and Open Track Prep Meet – January 23, 2022
I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE

And all other associations, sanctioning bodies and sponsoring companies, and all their respective agents, officials, servants,
contractors, representatives, successors and assigns OF AND FROM ALL claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions and
causes of action, whether in law or equity, in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to my person or property HOWSOEVER
CAUSED, arising or to arise by reason of my participation in the said event, whether as spectator, participant, competitor or otherwise;
whether prior to, during or subsequent to the event AND NOTWITHSTANDING that same may have been contributed to or occasioned
by the negligence of any of the aforesaid.
I FURTHER HEREBY UNDERTAKE to HOLD AND SAVE HARMLESS and AGREE TO INDEMNIFY all the aforesaid from and against
all liability incurred by any or all of them arising as a result of, or in any way connected with my participation in the said event.
BY SUBMITTING this ENTRY, I ACKNOWLEDGE HAVING READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED to the above WAIVER, RELEASE,
