Training for North West
Ministry Program
It’s difficult to find people willing and equipped
to serve God in the North West amid extreme
weather, isolation and transient populations.
We’ve set up a new program to train young
ministers for the specific challenges of frontline
North West ministry.

1 the new Minister, Allan Baird, moving from the
  UK to take up a training position in Dongara.
2 the continuing trainees, Matt Morrison,
  Brendan Hurley and Mike Welham along with
  their families as they work in ministry.

  development of good ministry skills.
2 For the recruitment of more willing to serve
  here, including from overseas.

Give thanks to God for Archdeacon Emeritus Bill
Ross who recently celebrated 4 score years of life.
Ask God to sustain Bill for many more years of faithful
service in obedience to the Lord Jesus.
Bill and his wife Jocelyn have
served in the Diocese for more
than 50 years, having begun
ministry in Kununurra in 1970.
They are still serving God in the
Diocesan Office at Geraldton
Anglican Cathedral and as
visiting minister at Shark Bay
and Northampton.
As Bill says:
      “There is no mention of retirement in the Bible.”
