PRAYER POINTS 1 That our two Bible study groups would grow in maturity and number. 2 That our Family Service will result in children learning to serve generously. 3 That our November month of prayer will help us to be more prayerful. 4 For Christmas outreach – that many will hear and respond to the gospel. PRAYER POINTS 1 Ask God to give us good opportunities each week to help Aboriginal Christians grow in their faith. 2 Ask God to strengthen those men and women who face great pressure each day to give in to their sinful nature instead of serving Jesus. Day 6 Port Hedland Mission to Seafarers Port Hedland Seafarers’ Centre Wedge St, Port Hedland Operations Manager Mr John Hague GIVE THANKS FOR 1 the $2M WA government grant to help build a new centre. 2 the key industry stakeholders who helped us with our new purpose-built centre (costing $10M). 3 the opportunity to talk with seafarers as we transport and house them. 4 the support of the local churches and community. PRAYER POINTS 1 God to soon raise up a Head of Mission/ Chaplain to fill the vacancy. 2 For the sustainability staff during Covid-19. 3 For a solution to Covid-19 to be found soon so seafarers can again safely come ashore and be welcomed by the community. Dampier Day 9 Mission to Seafarers The Revd Frank & Mrs Joanne Nicol (Lydia, Eli & Silas) GIVE THANKS FOR 1 the ongoing opportunities to care for seafarers in Dampier, despite ongoing restrictions. 2 no major cyclone damage this season. 3 Rio Tinto’s continuing support for the centre. PRAYER POINTS 1 For God to provide a new chaplain who loves seafarers and is eager to share the gospel. 2 That in their isolation, God would look after the seafarers. 3 That the Australian government would allow shore leave for the seafarers.
Exmouth/ Day 10 Onslow Exmouth Community Church, 8 Pelias St Service: 9.00am The Revd Simon and Mrs Alison Roberts (Lauren & Rachel) GIVE THANKS FOR 1 the Pilbara Women’s Conference in Karratha and being able to meet with the rest of the diocese at Fellow Workers Conference and Synod. 2 the faithful service of Christians in Exmouth and Onslow and the gospel opportunities God has given people. PRAYER POINTS 1 For opportunities to deepen relationships with locals in Exmouth and Onslow as the tourist season comes to a close. 2 For the Carols service in Onslow and Christmas events and services in Exmouth. 3 That our daughters and parents would be able to come to Exmouth to visit.

PRAYER POINTS 1 For more churches to have the technical infrastructure that allows services to be broadcast, especially at the Cathedral and Dongara parish. 2 For wisdom as we plan the future ministry through North West Live.
Day 12 Newman St Stephens, Hilditch Ave Service: 9.00am The Revd Roger & Mrs Amanda Kyngdon (Ada, Eliza, Benjamin & Emily) GIVE THANKS FOR 1 church members who have moved away from Newman and their time in Newman. 2 the new people who have joined the church. 3 playtime ministry and gospel opportunities. 4 bible study and the new people who have started attending. PRAYER POINTS 1 For a new full time minister. 2 For sufficient finances for the ministry. 3 For a better understanding of what we should do in local mission. 4 That God would strengthen the fellowship in Carnarvon. Day 14 Shark Bay St Andrew-by-the-Sea, Hughes St Service: 9.00am Honorary Minister VACANT GIVE THANKS FOR 1 the congregation as they continue on with limited resources. 2 the Fyffes’ serving in a locum capacity and for others who are assisting on a casual basis. 3 the witness members of the congregation give through their faith in Jesus. PRAYER POINTS 1 For the church to be encouraged with the ministry of locums. 2 For a more permanent locum, someone willing to come for at least 12 months to minister to the church and share the gosple in Denham. 3 For God’s mercy on the town so that more people may repent and believe.

PRAYER POINTS 1 To build relationships with kids club families through family events. 2 For the preparations for the Christmas season and holiday time in January. 3 That our recommenced weekly kids club allows more connections with locals. 4 For continued resilience after Cyclone Seroja to get things ‘back to normal’. Day 16 Northampton Holy Trinity, 193 Hampton Rd (opp Caravan Park) Service: 8.30am Minister-In-Charge VACANT GIVE THANKS FOR 1 those willing to minister on a rostered basis so that regular Sundays can be sustained. 2 those who are committed to attending church and contributing in services. 3 the limited damage to church property during the recent cyclone. PRAYER POINTS 1 For many in the town who are still suffering from the effects of the cyclone. 2 For the congregation to witness the gospel and realise how real hope and security are to be found in Jesus alone again. 3 For an honourary minister to serve in Northampton.

PRAYER POINTS 1 For continued care over Seafarers in isolation. 2 For continued care for Seafarers families separated from a parent. 3 For Seafarers doing extended contracts due to Covid-19 shore access restrictions. 4 For streamlining repatriation for Seafarers. Day 24 Dongara Training for North West Ministry Program It’s difficult to find people willing and equipped to serve God in the North West amid extreme weather, isolation and transient populations. We’ve set up a new program to train young ministers for the specific challenges of frontline North West ministry. GIVE THANKS FOR 1 the three assistant ministers in the training program: Mike Welham (year 1, Cathedral); Matt Morrison (year 2, Dongara) and Brendan Hurley (year 3, Bluff Point). 2 their wives and families with them in ministry. PRAYER POINTS 1 For wisdom for those involved with training: the Bishop, Archdeacon Paul Spackman and Acting dean David Seccombe. 2 For the trainees’ spiritual growth and development of good ministry skills. 3 For the recruitment of more willing to serve here, including from overseas. Regional Hospital Day 25 Chaplaincy The Revd Jeremy & Mrs Virginia Rice GIVE THANKS FOR 1 the financial support for hospital chaplaincy. 2 Virginia’s wonderful recovery over the past year. 3 Jesus’ death for our sins and his resurrection and the promise of our own. 4 God’s promise of a renewed universe with Him – no sin, no pain, no death. St Andrew’s Mullewa Est 1921 Praise God for the recent Thanksgiving Celebration that marked the centenary of God’s church in Mullewa. Thank God for Helen Ansell – artist and St Andrew’s member – who has painted a mural on the church hall inspired by Jesus’ parable of the sower.
