DODGE To: 01/11/2022 Model Sometime on 01/11/2022 between 1:00am- CHARGER 7:43am Color 7:43am someone stole his 2016 Gray with black GRY - Gray Vehicle Year stripes Dodge Charger. 2016 Body Style State Victim advised that he had three loaded firearms MI magazines inside a holster in the backseat of the Description 2016 Dodge Charger vehicle that were taken. Notes Grey Charger, 2 Vertical Evidence was present that the driver’s side rear Black Stripes. Rear window had been broken out. Drivers Window Smashed Out. No suspect information.

S – Stolen Handguns R/P advises he parked his vehicle outside his 9:30pm (Town Houses) Description residence in the 29000 Block of Franklin Rd. 2- Handguns were stolen. To: 01/11/2022 (Town Houses) on 01/10/2022 around 9:30pm. 7:23am The following morning at 7:23am R/P discovered that someone had taken his two handguns from the vehicle. Victim stated he was in a hurry to get in his house and forgot the handguns were in the vehicle and forgot to lock it. Nothing else was taken or damaged. No suspect information.

He reviewed surveillance 2- Chevrolet panel vans 2- GMC panel vans video and observed the following: Catalytic Converters were At 3:08am on 01/11/2022, two subjects can be taken from the vehicles. seen entering the north parking lot. One of the subjects was wearing an orange coat. The subjects can be seen walking through the parking lot near the attacked vehicles. The subjects left the parking lot at approx. 4:00am. Officer was notified of two more 2020 Ford Transit Van 2006 Ford Explorer vehicles being attacked. Several items were taken from the vehicle. Victims credit card was used at two nearby Gas Stations. There were no witnesses to this incident. Investigation is on-going regarding the use of the credit cards. Dr. (Apartments) on 01/13/2022 at 7:30pm. R/P retuned to the vehicle the following morning at 7:55am and found her driver’s door window broken out and steering wheel airbag system missing. No suspect information.

SR - Both Stolen and Recovered Officers were dispatched to the 20000 Block of 6:58am (Gas Station) Manufacturer Southfield Rd (Gas Station) regarding a Robbery Chrysler Model (Carjacking) that just occurred. R/P advised his Pacifica (Car Jacking) License No. Color Black Chrysler Pacifica was just taken at BLK - Black Vehicle Year gunpoint. 2021 Body Style Officers arrived on scene and met with the 4D - 4 Door victim. Victim complied. Suspect entered the vehicle and drove s/b on the service drive into Detroit. Victim ran into the gas station and called police. The vehicle that was taken was a Black Chrysler Pacifica with a Florida License Plate. It was later discovered that the victim and suspect were both inside the gas station. When the victim walked out of the gas station the suspect followed him to his vehicle and carjacked him.
Surveillance video from the gas station recorded the incident. The suspect was described as B/M wearing a large black winter coat with a hood up, had a black neck gaiter, black pants with a white logo on them, black tennis shoes, blue gloves (possibly latex), appeared to be thinner built and approx. 6'-6'2". On 01/15/2022 at approx. 10:00pm Officers located the stolen vehicle south of 8 Mile Rd. It was unoccupied and was impounded. Investigation is on-going. Officers responded to a report of a slumped driver. Officers shut down all access to the building and formed a perimeter around the building. Several Officers began searching the building floor by floor. Officers located suspect on the 5th floor that was mostly vacant space or under construction. The suspect was taken into custody w/o incident. The suspect didn’t have any shoes on! Both suspects were taken into custody and conveyed to the Southfield Jail for processing and lodging.

Security unknown male approached him and started shooting. followed the suspect vehicle to the 22000 Block of Ten Mile where The suspect fled the scene in a Black Cadillac XT5 or the vehicle became disabled and two b/m suspects fled on foot. He was taken into custody for Attempt Larceny of Catalytic green joggers Converter. Suspect Vehicle: The Mercedes Benz (attacked vehicle) was locked up and the Black Cadillac XT5 or XT6 catalytic convertor was halfway cut off. A catalytic convertor from an unknown vehicle and Sawzall blades were recovered from the suspect’s vehicle. The second suspect was not located.
