I’m a driven and sociable person. Growing up in the countryside has led to a love of nature, while working in urban environments has sparked creativity. Urban Mobility | 424 pack Backpack designed to meet all the needs in city life. Brief: Design a product that aids mobility in the city. Response: Backpack designed to meet all the needs of city life. Bag expands into a basket option, slot designed to fit an A2 folder also features a quick release from bike attachment. Aluminium frame design using 3D printed connectors. Creating a sleek durable lightweight design. Features: -Lightweight -Durable -Multifunctional Info: A group university project with graphic, product and business students. I led the product design team working on frame and bike connection, partner worked on the textiles.
Small Space Living | Chairer Chair that rotates into a clothes drying rack Brief: Design a product for the bedroom Response: The Chairer developed from the idea of people throwing clothes on a chair, the combination saves space is practical and desirable. Features: -Extra storage -Contemporary style -Multifunctional Info: Project gained a prize for most resolved product as well as a 1st class grade.

One Sheet | Corked Forming a versatile biodegradable material Brief: Create a product from a non standard sheet of material Response: Wine corks gathered from bars and restaurants were blended and mixed with a range of glues and experimented with forming methods this resulted in a fine cork mixed with natural rubber creating a versatile, flexible and sustainable material. Reduce waste | Nappy Easy to use nappy with minimum environmental damage Brief: how can we reduce nappy landfill waste while keeping the ease of use of disposable nappies. Response: Design has a reusable wipe clean outer layer with a triple layered liner. The liner is made from fast decomposing materials, moss, bamboo and potato starch. The liner has a fold out biodegradable bag, meaning the user can quickly seal contents this is an easy to use design that will drastically reduce landfill waste. Features: > Biodegradable liner > Fast and simple to use > Reusable outer layer Info: Working in a team alongside a client ensuring we meet their expectations and constraints.
Modify | Timber Tool Measuring tool diverting mid sized timber away from logging. Brief: How might we utilise local woodland resources to stimulate local economic activity, modify an existing product in your approach. Response: a measuring tool that identifies uses other than logging for mid-sized timber that needs to be felled. Worked alongside a tree surgeon to understand issues surrounding ash-dieback. Chair and bench with instructions shows user applications of the wood. Features: > Quick use guide > Uses for small to mid size timber > Print fabrication Info: Project submitted to RSA competition. Speculative | Morpho Object to aid physical connection between distant loved ones Brief: Design a product that creates emotional connection. Response: Long distance communication tool through touch. Uses a set of telescopic legs that move to the users touch. The data of each prong is sent to the paired Morpho reflecting the shape as the user changes it. Features: > Emotional design > Futuristic > Pandemic response Info: A group university project with graphic, product and business students. I worked on the digital design of the product using skills in grasshopper.
Parametric | Footbridge Adaptive footbridge design Brief: Design a product that test skills in grasshopper. Response: Footbridge design inspired by the repeating pattern of fish scales, uses divisible shape to go from handrails to foot-grip. Features: > Parametric > Foot-grip > Print fabrication Info: A project at the end of our grasshopper course to reflect skills gained.
